After 4 years of Trump hiring his family and sycophants completely out of their element, people like little Stephen Miller who've pushed anti-immigrant, white nationalist policies, it's good to see Biden's appointing people more representative of the country's diverse makeup.

Though, even if the Michigan GOP continues its assault on democracy at the lower level, it's irrelevant as the GOP senate majority leader in the state, Mike Shirkey, made it clear that this will not come to the legislators — and if it did, they would vote for Biden.

After getting infamous for their attack on the democratic process, the Wayne County Board voted 4-0 to certify the results of the election. The GOP's partisan hacks thankfully buckled under the pressure of the public being made aware in real time of their racist attempt to disenfranchise voters.
