Craven Kevin has nothing to negotiate....Mitch McConnell has already said "We will not default on our debt", which means he'll support Biden and the Dems - and they'll only need to get a handful of Repubs in the House to go along...
Then get ready for the Repub Kook Caucus to rebel and go nuts...and it now only takes one member to issue a "motion to vacate" the Speakership....
Kevin better enjoy his 30 days as Speaker - it will be over soon...
"My Kevin" becomes "Bye Kevin"....
ROFL..

“My word as a Biden: I’ve never been more optimistic about America’s future than I am today.”
well considering his word as a Biden means nothing, we are screwed.

Cool. Then put up some concrete proposals.
The Repub strategy is to force Dems to propose cuts, thus insolating themselves from voter backlash. If McCarthy and the GOP are so intent on cuts (which may not be a bad idea - defense, anyone?), let them be forthcoming.

Trump shut down the government for the longest period in history. Guess that won't happen again.
"The United States federal government shutdown from midnight EST on December 22, 2018, until January 25, 2019 (35 days) was the longest government shutdown in history and the second and final federal government shutdown involving furloughs during the presidency of Donald Trump."

Sure, it's not like Joe promised 62 times to "build a wall" and have Mexico pay for it - and failed in four years to keep his promise...

That would be Democrats. Kind of funny how Dems get richer while in government compared to the majority of conservatives that leave for the private sector…
An absolute Dem lie, it’s nowhere near any chopping block proposal
No, they just don’t want the left to Hijack the educational system and use it to turn and indoctrinate a one-sided political anti-American CRT driven agenda.
Yes, the majority of Americans we gave the Ukrainians enough of our money, now it’s up to Europe to take over and sacrifice as much as they can, they’re closer anyway.
And the same goes for the GOP working with Democrats, not anymore, they’re not your traditional parents DNP anymore. Now you have an extreme group that hates America, it’s culture and traditions and want to change it.

The US has only given Ukraine a very tiny amount of the defense budget of $800 billion and can afford to give much more and it is weapons are mostly given not cash. $4.5 in aid. About $50 billion in total. The American weapons industry is winning.

Let's see if Joe keeps his word.

Yeah, sure McCarthy and his MAGA followers!
"McCarthy, R-Calif., said he wants to address spending cuts ...."
Raise the taxes on things that are needed every day - burden those who don't make enough.
Eliminate health care the way it is now - enrich insurance companies.
Reduce the tax burden on those who make a lot of $$ - let them make even more.
Robin Hood for the rich: take it from the poor - give it to the rich.
Or as stated by experts:
"Six million job losses, $15 trillion in American household wealth wiped out, 401k plans decimated, 9% unemployment, cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and a federal government that can’t fund Medicaid, food safety inspections, border control, or air traffic control—that’s what House Republicans could inflict on the United States this year."
Quite the opposite of what Presidet Biden and Democrats do!

Hmmmm.....a $1.9 trillion tax cut for their fellow Top 1% fat cats...a billion dollar COVID bailout bill....millions in subsidies for farmers....now the Repubs don't want to pay THEIR UNFUNDED BILLS....not surprising...
Then I guess you think Repub Sen Rick Scott is a bold-faced liar...

The Repubs want to teach a circicullum endorsed and approved by the KKK...and Putin...

Budgets are about future spending. Debt ceilings are about paying for what has already been purchased by lawmakers from both parties.
No serious poltician (which rules out a large portion of the GQP) is willing to crash the economy by defaulting on the full faith and credit of the United States and it is not a point to "leverage" in negotiation.
And that is not just my opinion but the opinion of every Republican who matters in the US Senate as well.
For all his blabbering, Kevin the hair has faint support on this and in the end, he is going to fold like a lawn chair.
Or, the Democrats will skim off enough votes from the sanity caucus to bring a vote to the floor without his approval and will pass it without his help.
OR, the economy will go into free-fall when the United States defaults on its debts and that will go worse for the GQP than it did when Cancun Cruz lead a Quixotic effort to do as much.

thats a load of liberal propagandist crap, obviously. Yet it still remains posted here, of course.
The KKK and Putin have nothing to do with our school curriculum.
Which has nothing to do with the debt limit talks on Wednesday either.
Just more random "but Trump/but Repubs/but MAGA!" hysterical nonsense.

Apparently you are the only one. Rules for the but not for the Dotard.
He is a lying bag of decaying (insert descriptor of choice here) and EVERYONE but you knows it.
Maybe that is why he lost the popular vote by a record margin?
Any sentient being would take the word of a Biden over a pack of sociopaths, and make no mistake, that is what the entire Trump Klann is, any day of the week.

Questioning the full faith and credit of the United States is such a monumentally stupid idea as to cause one to question the mental aquity of anyone postulating it.
No wonder it is a GQP proposal. Just when you thought that there couldn't be a bunch of bigger goobers less qualified than Hockey-mom Sarah, here comes Dotard and his band of merry morons to remind you that there is no bottom.
