I'm not too worried about Trump after the election. He'll continue to talk about how the election was stolen from him yet he stepped down anyway which will contradict his own message. And saying crazy s* as a regular citizen isn't anything like saying crazy s** as President. He will be more like a crazy uncle that you will come to ignore.

I expect Trump, his family and his syndicate defended by Trump’s personal attorney Rudy G. to continue their con game getting the gullible to contribute more money to their war-against-America-chest. 

That Trump, his cult and other Republicans continue trying to undermine the foundations the US was built on, attack voting and elections, shows they’re not just anti-democracy, but also anti-republic.

Something that will be welcomed, by all (no doubt), is that we won't have any people saying "Hail Trump/Biden". Because that was a low point, and sent shivers down the spine. No matter what your political stance is.

I'm a lifelong Democrat but I cannot agree with that statement. Just as military leaders would study the leadership, equipment and tactics of a foreign adversary, you need to listen to the other side in politics and understand their world view. I don't mean you have to agree with them, but listen and understand. Figure out where they are coming from and when possible find ways to address their concerns. Don't allow hubris to let you be blindsided by events you didn't see coming. Know what the other side is thinking. Not the distorted social media version but actually talk to people and listen. Some of it is genuinely scary but not always.

It's truth and obvious the election's been over for so long, now, but I don't mind repeating the congratulatory message.

I'm no fan of Trump or Biden and at the end of the day my opinion does not matter as I am not American, What I do think though is that your entire election process is flawed . The whole college thing is nonsense and outdated. You are voting for the POTUS, right? Now, I understand that the US is essentially a load of different 'countries' thrown together in a Federation, all of which have of their own different laws, but this was a Election for the President, i.e. a FEDERAL contest. To vote for the leader of the Free World. Please explain why in a am election for the President of the FEDERATION, the ways and means to elect that person vary so differently from State to State. Looking in from the outside is always been a load of old nonsense, but if its never really been a problem before as you haven't had an egotistical madman in office! Surely, if Trump had wanted to assure victory this year he would have devoted more of the last 4 years to reforming the election process, and streamlining it until something resembling the modern world OR bending into something he thought would give him a better chance of victory rather than sitting back and watching States change the rules on mail in ballots and the like and doing something concrete about it.

I love you visiting your country, I have many good friends there, I can't to get back there once COVID has left us, but the fact you can't see this whole debacle is making a laughing stock of your great country saddens me immensly. Meanwhile, Trump has effectively 'abdicated' since the Election loss (yes, its a loss) - surely he would come out of hiding and continue to run the country which really does need someone in charge now and clearly doesn't, if he seriously thought he had a chance of overturning the result.

No, quite the Opposite Trump was trying to drain the swamp, he was trying to let people go to work he was trying to make sure that people have their civil rights protected and get these Democrats are undermining all of that and they have done that for years and it seems like at least for the next four years are going to do that again, that is a problem for the nation and it seems like in some twisted and suspicious fashion, they got their wish for now.
