Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy remains exasperated with the pace of military assistance, accusing Western leaders of cowardice and repeating his request for tanks and fighter jets.

Sorry Zelenskyy sending the words from my big mouth is the only thing I can do for you.... But make sure that you get a good media coverage ...

Good for you Joe!

You were actually being very polite considering Putin's war crimes!

Every American that has been outraged as they watched this unfold with attacks on hospitals, schools & civilians, has thought the exact same thing & probably said much worse.

Biden said he was not concerned that his comments would escalate tensions over the war in Ukraine.

This is the problem with this doddering old wanna be tough guy. This right here.

he is NOT concerned about what he says nor the consequences because innocent Ukrainians pay that price not him.

dangerous. I just wanna look tough.

Yeah, that genie can’t be put back in its bottle now matter how much his handlers try and clean up this mess on aisle 4. Biden meant it, of course he did.

Maybe he should have said he’d bomb the kremlin. Would that have been better?

Either way, it wouldn’t have made a difference, he basically said what we all “think” but outright saying it to a man that already distrusts the US, NATO and the EU and has around 6,000 nukes and has a twisted distortion of Russian history was definitely not the smartest thing to do.

Maybe what Biden said wasn't the smartest thing to say, but it wasn't that bad. All Biden said was that Putin must go because he's a war criminal. Both which almost every non-Russian agrees on. What's the big deal?

Biden said he DOES NOT CARE that his comments escalated the tensions.

There isn't one. Apparently some posters on here think that not calling Putin a genius or savvy will "escalate the tensions".

French President Emanuel Macron on Sunday said he “wouldn’t use those terms, because I continue to speak to President Putin, because what do we want to do collectively? We want to stop the war that Russia launched in Ukraine, without waging war and without escalation.”

I don't get what Biden is trying to do. He is afraid to give Ukraine Migs, because it will escalate the war, yet he escalates with his tough act.

Just give Ukraine the planes then and let it be done.

I thought you liked shootin’ from the hip, straight talkin’ and showing backbone.

That is the scary problem with a person that has serious cognitive problems. Words do have consequences.

President Joe Biden said Monday that he is “not walking anything back” after his weekend comment that Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power," although Biden insisted he's not calling for regime change in Moscow.

Joe--your aides already did the walking back for you.

Actually, I respect Biden saying what he did. The world needs tough talk and tough actions like the US had under Trump. But what Biden said, after, were just words though.

Like when he and Obama were in the WH and they drew a red line in the sand if Syria were to use chemical weapons. Just words.

And this whole escapade would not even be taking place if it weren't for Biden's talking tough and goading Russia to invade Ukraine in the first place.

Too bad he didn't walk back those words.

Perhaps it was his finest hour in Europe, bold enough to call others names.

But for how long would he be able to remember what he said..?

Biden said, "For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power." That can be construed as a statement of fact. As long as Putin remains in power, regardless of what happens in Ukraine, Russia will remain forcibly isolated from the world. Discussing the situation with a Ukrainian friend, I asked what will happen when (not if) Putin loses, and he said, "Oh, he'll be killed by his own circle."

Just dumb, no other way of putting it.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken was forced to continue clarifying Biden’s speech during a trip through the Middle East,

Why is the Sec. of State clarifying what Biden said?

Biden wasn't clear in what he said?

Who is is charge? Does anyone in the administration know?

Biden meant it, of course he did.

He merely put in words what's in the mind of any right-thinking person.

Putin is a war criminal.

That was a childish insult. Like he is trying with Putin that isn’t working.

kids play.

Maybe you can suggest some funny nicknames. Failing that maybe some nice chocolate cake and exchanging love letters.

And as usual Trump completely ignored it.

Sure he did. He was famous for his thick skin.
