Damn sure better not be another Korea where we stay there forever. Get the hell out at the end of 2011. < :-)

No matter what they say in government, it sure looks like America will be in Iraq for another many 3 to 5 years. If they wanted to get out by now, they would have left a very long time ago.

But, but, but ..... the democrats vowed to remove all troops out of Iraq within 100 days of taking control of the House and Senate in 2007. And Obama promised to have all troops out of Iraq within 16 months of taking office (i.e., May 20th of this year).

Just words. Just speeches.

Well, Obama said he'd get the troops out of within 16 months and listen to the Iraqis, may have to be adjusted. Yeah 3 months late, but accomplished.

O-O-O-O That might be a bad word. You don't happen to remember your favorite president, george bush, saying Mission Accomplished and all major fighting is over? Remember those cute little words that got him really in trouble, "Bring it on?"

This is fun. < :-)

"Iraq's political impasse"

Everyone's looking at this as being a bad thing. Heck, it's a lot better than having Saddam Hussein ruling with an iron fist from his many luxurious palaces.

So is VP Joey B going to break up Iraq into 3 countries like he promised?

Sarge, for most people yes. But the international Left like adaydream wanted Saddam in power, as they support anyone against the US.

Deadpan comedy, as usual. Bush moved goalposts to the tune of years. Obama moves goalposts to the tune of months. So RR attacks...Obama. Some people would not know an improvement if it cleaved their head with an axe.
