Mr Goodman
It's a bit late to be pushing to protect civilians don't ya think mr Biden
No more weapons or support for Israel
Israel cannot be trusted
NotThe One
A little too late for Biden since he started getting those protest votes in places like Michigan with large muslims populations and lots of conscious young people.
He may be a Hillary Clinton 2.0 for the next presidential election.

Keep moving those goal posts, Joe! What a joke.

The White House has said the U.S. has no plans to conduct its own investigation even as it called on Israel to do more to prevent the harming of innocent civilians and aid workers as it carries out its operations in Gaza.
There's no need for an investigation. Driving through a war zone, you assume the risks.
Hamas terrorists and their supporters are intent in continuing to commit genocide against the Jewish people. There's no room to tolerate this, and Israel must eliminate it at all costs.
Hamas has to allow the civilians to evacuate and has to stop stealing aid. This will save lives of those people.
Aly Rustom
Yes but not just that. He got grilled over Gaza during an Auto Workers Union meeting in Michigan. The scope of anger against his Gaza policy and support for Israel is far more reaching than he nor the Democratic party can fathom.
That's exactly my prediction.
JJE
Biden is gaslighting everyone again. He has given the greenlight and this is just PR for votes.
Strangerland
Thank you for informing us of the Kremlin view of this matter.
Sh1mon M4sada
You took the words right out of my mouth. I'd wager, if Benji had listened to IDF chiefs, Hamas would be no more by now. His indiscriminate campaign has proven to be counter productive, no wonder Israelis are in the street calling for his downfall.
Anonymous
Interesting. Haven’t friendly Arab states that signed the Abrahamic Accords been saying that about Biden?
I’ve often wondered how many young people are actually conscious.
Chabbawanga
Biden is gaslighting everyone
StevieJ
He's only pushing this angle because he faces losing to Trump due to moronic exteme left types who won't vote for him because "free Palestine".
GuruMick
Trump concerned about bad PR after the deaths of 35,000 Palestinians.
Absence of empathy the mark of a narcissist.
Strangerland
Do you feel he should stop pushing to protect them?
Nah, Trump banned abortion. The Democrats already have this cinched. Biden is adapting to the situation because it's what qualified leaders do.
John
Even for those of us who are very sympathetic to Israel, Netanyahu’s reckless disregard for civilians is too much.
Bibi thinks He is Israel.
He’s not. He doesn’t even have the backing of the Israeli electorate.
Biden should publicly distance himself from and isolate Netanyahu while continuing to support Israel’s right to exist and it’s security.
Alfie Noakes
Bottomless hypocrisy from Joe "I'm a Zionist" Biden. The US is using the genocidal terrorist entity as a weapon to destroy the international law-based system and normalise genocide.
Here's a handy little X account that tracks the subversion of American "democracy" by the Israel lobby and its $$$$$. How corrupt is your Congressperson?

Aly Rustom
THIS!!!
Strangerland
Nah. Sure Biden will lose a few young people over Israel, but the overwhelming majority of young people care more about abortion - something that directly affects their own lives.
Remember, Trump removes rights, the Democrats enshrines them.
Strangerland
Speak for yourself.
Chabbawanga
As Biden presses congress for yet another 18bn dollar sale of weapons to Israel, you believe a single word of Bidens warning? I feel very very sorry for you.
Strangerland
That comment made you look really smart bruh. And I swear, I'm not making fun of you. Srsly. Bruh.
Attilathehungry
Hey, just curious... what new steps are being asked of HAMAS to protect civilians?
What is really happening is that this issue is dragging Biden down in the polls. So he makes public announcements like this, while quietly whispering to Netanyahu, "look, just get this DONE, man! And before November."
Sanjinosebleed
200 aid workers along with 170 journalists have been assasinated by this war criminal regime since the start of this current genocide. The hypocrisy of the west to continue to slap Israel’s wrist in public while still supplying them with bombs to slaughter women and children is heart breaking and disgusting! They are starving 2 million people! Collective punishment is a war crime!
Sanction Israel Now!
Stop supplying Israel with weapons and money now!
Send the Current Israeli Govt and IDF leaders to The Hague now!
itsonlyrocknroll
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is ruthless, the political propaganda is focused, it is timed to perfection.
Staging a strike on Iranian targets in Syria, Netanyahu harsh reprisals in occupied land in the west bank.
"They’re losing the PR war. They’re losing it big. But they’ve got to finish what they started, and they’ve got to finish it fast, and we have to get on with life.”
PR?
Donald Trump while in office formally recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel
Statement by Former President Trump on Jerusalem
https://il.usembassy.gov/statement-by-president-trump-on-jerusalem/
Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have totally underestimated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Hamas 7th October atrocity, with the benefit of hindsight were carefully planned assaults, a means to an end.
Joe Biden, Donald Trump, UN security council, Benjamin Netanyahu were all politically caught trousers down.
Now the region is facing a possible full blow war, that US government cannot just pretend/stand by and watch Israel fail/lose.
"He who hesitates is lost"......
The diplomacy failed when global community stood by with careless disregard to realise Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu government didn't hesitate, not only to extract his political pound of flesh, but also force a fundamental change of US middle eastern policy across the political spectrum.
When Donald Trump mentioned losing the PR war, you sense he's fumbling, fudging to find an alternative policy.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has both Joe Biden and Donald Trump forced into a corner.
zibala
“Get it over with and let’s get back to peace and stop killing people. And that’s a very simple statement,”
Trump is right. Israel has to amp up its attacks with even more force. Whatever it takes to get to victory, and then no more people will be killed, even though the number of civilians who have been killed is actually small in relation to actual humanitarian catastrophe's and genocides like we see in Syria and Yemen.
If 1/3 of the people killed are Hamas, and the other 2/3 are women and children, how come no male civilians are being killed?
kurisupisu
America just has to STOP sending weapons of destruction to Israel and peace will prevail!
Chabbawanga
Arent Hamas a terrorist organization? Why would anyone expect them to protect civilians? Is Israel a terrorist state? Is the US a terrorist state?
Chabbawanga
Becasue literally every male is a legitimate target according to Israel. Its the only clarification they need before greenlighting a strike.

Is that a US precision guided missile I see before me?
Made in the USA!
WoodyLee
Mr. Biden must be kidding, LOL.
Does he really think that he will be in office for the next delivery??
Too late Sir, that killing has been done, the genocide is almost over, Netanyahu will be in office but not....!?
zibala
That doesn't add up.
1/3 killed are Hamas--assume they are all men.
2/3 are women and children.
So where are the male civilians being killed?
Strangerland
Of course - the Republicans banned abortion. Now we're just waiting until the next election so the democrats can get all houses, and then protect the people's right to abortion.
Remember, Trump wants to take away rights, Biden wants to enshrine them.
GuruMick
Alternative narrative from non MSM sees the involvement of World Central Kitchen as a fig leaf cover to under score the dismantling of UNRWA.
That is, some good PR to make it seem that the hunger/famine issue is being addressed.
Yet WCK can only provide a small percentage of needs compared to the population of Gaza and a smaller percentage than that of UNRWA.
All getting murky and Machiavellian when one follows this down a rabbit hole.
WCK close to Biden, founder did a promo for Biden some few years back.
Biden calls founder to express condolences, did he ever call UNRWA when 150 plus aid workers were killed ?
Then WCK employees { about half of them ex special forces } get murdered by some IDF who "didnt get the memo "
Seems a number of narratives playing out at top levels while zero help for Gazans' on the bottom, as usual.
GuruMick
Zibala...did you miss the latest from Haaretz ?
IDF counting all deaths as Hamas...kids, old men etc...everyone.
If you're dead , you must have been Hamas.
Chabbawanga
Israel counts all dead male adults as Hamas. Of course many of the male victims of the conflict will have been militants, but not all of them.
WoodyLee
""President Joe Biden issued a stark warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday""
The U.S. is running this war make no mistake about that, but why and how someone may ask??
Simple, Jewish Donners $$$$ are poured over any candidates that Swear an Allegiance to Israel.
It has nothing to do with U.S. national security or interests.
zibala
Parents send their 5 year old children to Hamas Terrorist Summer Camps.
That is a good question--is there anyone actually removed completely from Hamas? No? Then it is true there are no civilian deaths.
Are they not?
Attilathehungry
If Hamas is a terrorist organization, then surely the responsibility for the civilian deaths rests on THEM, not Israel. The war would end tomorrow if Hamas surrendered, and released their hostages.
The idea that this is some kind of 'genocide' is ludicrous. What kind of genocide sees the population of the so-called victims INCREASE every year for a half century? Give me a break.
As for the aid workers, they are responsible for themselves. Swanning around a war zone in the midst of a conflict is not smart. Especially when the lion's share of any aid provided would go to Hamas (as has been the case for the past 15 years).
GuruMick
Zibala, your "logic " reveals a complete blinkered thinking.
Why not "everyone is Hamas until proved otherwise "?
I'm reminded of the witches "trials' in England and Europe.
If the female "presumed witch " failed the trial and drowned, she wasnt a witch.
wallace
The world was shocked by the Hamas attacks on Oct 7. More recently, the world has been shocked by the level of destruction by the IDF in Gaza killing thousands of innocent people.
People are outraged about the IDF attacks against three World Central Kitchen aid cars.
Collective punishment against the Jewish people is antisemitic. But it seems not against the Arabs. Blaming the nation because of the actions of a single Jew is antisemitic.
Chabbawanga
Thanks once again for proving to everyone what a total piece of excrement you are
Chabbawanga
Another complete idiot reveals itself
zibala
You misunderstand an elementary fact.
The "Arabs" are not a nation.
Basically everyone in gaza has proved they belong to or support Hamas.
Still true.
wallace
Collective punishment of any people is illegal internationally.
The Arabs are a nation.
"The Arab world, formally the Arab homeland, also known as the Arab nation or the Arab states, currently consists of the 23 Arab countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia."
UChosePoorly
Israel is starting to act like Russia.
UChosePoorly
Netanyahu seems to have gotten wrapped up in a dictator’s dilemma. Not going to end well for him.
zibala
No one is blaming the "nation". The Arab terrorists are responsible for the genocide in Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and so forth,
Palestine is not a country,
If it were, you wouldn't be arguing for a 2-state solution, because there would already be 2 states, so that would mean you are contradicting yourself.
John-San
The rag tag Mujaheddin led by Bin Laden sent the Russian packing with their tails between their leg. I wonder if the USA will bring Bin Ladin out of hiding to do the same in Ukraine.
wallace
zibala
None of what you have posted dismisses that internationally collective punishment under the UN Charter which Israel is a signature is illegal.
Raw Beer
What, what they have done so far isn't enough?
The US (and UK) are complicit in israel's genocide against the Palestinians.
zibala
You don't have any court case that found Israel guilty of collective punishment, so you're just throwing around frivolous claims.
This is a war. Deal with it.
John
Biden tells Israel's Netanyahu future U.S. support for war depends on new steps to protect civilians
Steps? Steps must be bombing children with drone rockets instead of shooting them while they are waiting on a line to get food. What a joke!
Ricky Kaminski13
Really gets tired reading the same comments from the same people day in day out. I know I’m guilty of over posting too, but someone has to at least try and offer some sense and counter arguments to the mush. I would love to know how the regulars here would react to this video below, from a guy I believe to be our generations version of a Winston Churchill, even though he is not a politician.
Son of Hamas, Mosab Hassan Yousef. A recently uploaded discussion. This is what true integrity, clarity, experience and true bravery looks like. The polar opposite to the daily mush offered up by the mob in here. The fact that you have to say it over and over again too, every single post about Israel is also telling, never miss another chance to put the dagger in. Why is that? Genocide? Cockroaches? We’ll see where the real genocide is explained perfectly below. Of course you fellas wont listen , you simply can’t, but if you want to understand the other side of everything you say then here’s the challenge.

Nice propaganda attempt, maybe for gaining a few more November votes. But let's just call that worthless poker hand. Civilians there were given advise, time, corridors for fleeing and southern Gaze areas to flee into unharmed and equipped with elementary humanitarian aid incoming from Egypt etc. If you ask me, they highly probable are supporters of Hamas when they not abide , stay in the active fighting zones and resist going to more peaceful areas. In addition, all people with double passports or citizenships could or can leave officially via the Gaza border exits. So if Biden or anyone else of the loudly complaining global community really would care, feel free to give all those civilians a second passport of your country to save them. Of course that won't happen, not even in neighboring Arab countries they are welcome, because nearly or about 70% are terrorists or strongly support them. And of course US or other big countries have already enough own problems with migrated terrorists and Palestinians themselves. So think it over and calm down a bit. Netanyahu has only this last time frame to solve it and if he fails, it will heavily fall and smash the feet, in Israel and everywhere else soon after too. In fact he has no other choice than to forget about the hostages and also what Biden or many others demand. Those demands are very well understandable, but giving in will only lead to postponement and reinforcing of Hamas and related conflicts in future again.

Bassem Youssef on Palestine: The West is terrified of Israel (youtube.com)
Excellent interview.
Chabbawanga
Stick to the judo chops Rick. Easier than critical thinking.
GuruMick
Sven...you say 70% of Gazans are terrorist...
Because I care I checked....44% of Gazans' are aged 0 to 14 years.
Get an early start do they ?
Must be those Hamas pre schools another posters telling us about.
Mr Goodman
The Gaza Strip will become a USA territory and Palestinians will be welcome to live their or the USA will stop support of Israel
USA will rebuild.
Israel needs to back off as their killing spree was overkill and the USA doesn't need a war with Iran.
Mr Goodman
It's a bit late to be pushing to protect civilians don't ya think mr Biden
Don't attempt to manipulate my words.
No one should ever stop protecting innocent civilians.
Ricky Kaminski13
One man with that level of experience and deep insight into the heart of the problem that we are all trying to make sense of will know more than ten thousand self proclaimed experts. His story alone is compelling enough to make anyone stop in the tracks and listen. It takes a certain level of humility to admit that you don’t know. You are not an expert, nor a scholar, none of us would spend so much time here if we were.
In times like these guys like Mosab appear. For those still with the ability to hear, they will. For those that can’t, won’t. Up to you, cause none of this makes an inkling of difference to the situation on the ground. Have a top day guys. Try and keep the ad hominem attacks to a minimum. Never a great look for anyone. God speed!
