Honorable, but just a gesture. Get to work on stricter gun control laws. It’s a global embarrassment.

The article is more about those who died than who killed them. The mass killing was well covered by all media. A cruel and tragic event robbing lovers, families and friends.

How did the mass murderer kill the people? With an assault rifle so easily available throughout the country and even on the internet.

Killed 49 and wounded another 53. Sure as well he couldn't have done that with a broomstick.

Omar Mateen swore allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and said the U.S. killing of Abu Waheeb in Iraq the previous month "triggered" the shooting.

He a Jihadist before the attack or just a single murderer with a twisted mind who hated LGBTQ. He was killed so some answers we'll never know. Known to the FBI

The gunman was an American born in New Hyde Park, New York. His parents were Afghan.

A homegrown terrorist. Not the first. Not the last.

More needs to be done to limit access to assault weapons.

Hate is a Virus!

The Pulse nightclub murderer was an Islamist terrorist who hated gays. This is never mentioned in any recent articles.

It’s not relevant, also the attacker isn’t mentioned at all in this article.

49 innocent people killed is a horrific tragedy.

Exactly. During the attack, gunman Omar Mateen called 911 and pledged allegiance to the leader of the anti-gay Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, He wanted revenge because the US had just killed a top Isis leader in Iraq.

The deadliest attack on the LGBTQ community in U.S. history.

The basis for 49 deaths are not relevant? It isn't relevant the attack was by an Islamic terrorist who killed in the name of Isis?

And the fact the attacker's name is not mentioned in the article is exactly Sal Affist's point.

I think it is extremely relevant to understand the reason for this tragic event in which innocent civilians were murdered, quite possibly because of their sexual orientation, but definitely because of their national origin.

These were people who had families, friends, and all are still suffering because of this Islamic terrorist attack..

Really? It seemed the article was more about gun control then, because Joe Biden, Susan Rice, Kamala Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, and Cedric Richmond, who participated in a roundtable discussion in gun violence, were all mentioned by name.

No victims were named.

The Islamic terrorist who murdered those people and gave rise to this discussion on gun control---because he killed those people with a gun isn't mentioned.

Rather than accept what the mainstream media feeds the libs, some people ask relevant questions.
