I've seen real senility and Biden is far from that. He just has an unfortunate tendency to not give a flip and say whatever comes to mind. I guess that too comes with age.

The sooner he is out of politics, the better. But with the US alienating its population more and more, you will never know if the replacement of a bad incumbent will be even worse. Voting as I see it, is a form of validation. In the end they will do whatever they please and will invoke the vote as the permission to “govern”.

Regardless, his popularity has dropped significantly due to the Gaza conflict. It would be prudent for him to step aside and let someone fresh take the Republican candidate on. I don't think Biden is going to get a second term anymore.

Trump on the other hand is showing many signs on many occasions that is mental faculty is declining. He has referred to the current president as Obama more than once, he has mistaken Jeb for George W Bush and he has referred to WW2 as something that may happen in the future..

If that were true, the media and even Dems in his own party wouldn’t worry about many of his political decisions and that huge stumble with Xi last week didn’t help his image at all, not to mention watching Blinken’s face and body cringe the way he did says it all what people are thinking and that were previously quiet and are now more vocal in their concern for their party and Biden’s declining cognitive abilities.
Yes, and that is why it matters so much based on his historical decisions particularly abroad.
That was how the media portrayed Biden in the beginning knowing back then he just wasn’t mentally fit for this job, and they tried their best to support this guy and look the other way every time he fumbled, they’re not doing that anymore, they are panicking and worried, rightly so.

Like him or loathe him, it is fairly certain now that Trump will win the Presidency. His campaign is going smoothly, and he has won over women voters - which was a segment Biden previously was strong in.
The biggest decision now is who Trump personally chooses as his VP. Hopefully not little Ron De Santis. My bet is on Nikki Haley at this point - if only to bolster the big women's support yet further.
Will be difficult (but not impossible) for Biden to turn the ship around now - there definitely seems to be an increasing groundswell to get Trump back in that Whitehouse.

That Biden's the only Democratic antidote so far to the MAGAmadness of Trumprepublicanism is more the pity. While his mind may still be working well enough to sign off on stuff. the optics don't look good in a country that worships at the altar of youth and beauty, a factor that no doubt plays into the lack of enthusiasm of many. Still, politicians who don't know when to quit, always ruin their reputation and spoil their legacy. An octogenarian Potus does not bode well for any country's future.

One word - Teflon. Trump is made of it - for better or worse. He seems to shrug off every legal issue that comes his way. Certainly with the public, anyway.
The polls indicate that head-to-head with Biden, Trump is leading, and his support is growing. Sitting on 39% a year out, Biden would need to stage a political comeback for the ages. I don't mind the guy and wouldn't rule against it - but it's not looking likely.

Clearly you are watching the news on Democrat-friendly media outlets (which is pretty much all of them) that protect him and censor out the many, many video clips that show Biden to be incoherent, cognitively impaired, and confused.

The U.S. was demonstrably more prosperous, and the world was demonstrably safer and less "on fire," under Trump than it has been under Biden.
The U.S. economy was stronger. Prices were under control. People had more money left in their pockets at the end of each pay period. The number of people crossing the southern border illegally was far lower.
Trump was the first U.S. president in several decades not to get the U.S. involved in a new war. He bequeathed to Biden a stable Afghanistan situation, which Biden then proceeded to completely screw up.
There was no Russia/Ukraine conflict, and no Israel/Gaza conflict. Neither would have even happened if Trump were still president -- I say that because neither of them DID happen when he actually WAS president.
So, please. Reassess your definition of "hell." It doesn't automatically mean "when we have a president whose ideology I don't like."
