Don't mess with the Good Friday agreement Truss.

Peace in Ireland is much more important than your pandering to the tally ho gang of brexiteers.

Non of Biden's business, he'll be in a box or a nursing home soon. Normal business can resume. He's no more Irish than my Akita dog

Non (sic) of Biden's business

Without Irish America Northern Ireland would still have a sectarian murder gang masquerading as a (dangerously significant in terms of its lethal influence) part of its police force.

There's also the not insignificant fact that Sinn Féin - possessed of "such skill and ingenuity" according to King Charles last week (watch the BBC report from Hillsborough Castle) - are the region's largest party. Oh, and the latest Census figures today:

@Mickelicious - To those within the Military, it was well known, that NORAID was an American organization that both Funded the IRA and provided them with Arms.

With the UK leaving Europe (in it's current form), the Good Friday Agreement needs to be reworked - and to do so will require the Cooperation of all 3 parties - Ireland and Europe included.

Spare us the hushed tones. EVERYONE knew what Martin Galvin and Noraid was about. If by 'Military' you mean UK military intelligence and their MI5 etc. chums, those chaps had a lot of private schools and ponies to pay for. The Troubles would have ended a lot earlier without their self--serving meddling and running of agents on both the pro- and anti-British sides.

I'm referring to the Congressmen and women on both sides of the aisle who rallied behind John Hume and the peace process.

Whatever for? If anything Unionism is now in a less strong position, and it would be unfair to put them through such a process. With a Sinn Féin First Minister in the North, and (near future) Taoiseach in the South, is there the civic or political appetite to go through that all again?

The unification of Ireland is inevitable. Protestant bigotry and British colonialism won't prevail. Ireland will be one country. The sooner the Brits understand this the better.

Hopefully Biden will be the last plastic Paddy American politician to claim he knows anything. He barely knows what day it is, he will not be missed. Butt out old man, care worker is waiting for you
