Joe really wants the votes of the voters he betrayed in Michigan and to shake his "Genocide Joe" moniker that has plagued his events. Thus, his little symbolic stunts. First an airdrop and now a "port".

He could have done any number of things, including not vetoing the ceasefires or stopped the massive arms transfers behind congress's back.

Too bad tens of thousands of mainly innocent people are dead. Can't unscramble the omelette Joe.

His campaign is purposely organising smaller campaign events, screening people (with a private company) and keeping dates of his appearances secret until the last minute from the media and public to thwart would-be protestors. College campuses are a no-no. His next big campaign event in NY has a venue that can hold 6000 - but his event will only have 2000 carefully screened people with a high price tag to discourage protestors. Although the event itself has been announced, the date is being kept a secret for now.

Never been this level of secrecy from one's own supporters in a campaign.

Good. It's good that the Palestinians will be getting aid. I'm glad the Biden administration stepped up and made it happen.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Imagine people in that area, when they looked up in sky, they have no idea whether it's something will end their life, either drone or airstrike. It might be food drop too. Occupier only provide airstrike, however US provide both, that's pretty "make sense" isn't it.

Israel blocked a permanent port for decades...now Gaza getting a ""temporary " port.

Seems like another diminishment of Palestine rights to me.

Maybe replace the fishing boats the IDF destroyed with some Stand Up Paddleboards ?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Good news. Let’s do this.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Occupier only provide airstrike, however US provide both, that's pretty "make sense" isn't it.

The US isn’t air striking Palestinians or even Hamas.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

The only way aid is going to get to the people who need it most is through the US or UK or other ISsael allies, who it would be impossible for Israel to open fire on. This is far too little far too late, but this is a strong move in the right direction.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

+29% of Hawaii voted uncommitted in yesterday's democratic primary in show solidarity with GAZA and protest of the Genocide. State after state, protest is building to NOT support Biden by VOTING Uncommitted!

More aid is great but it's only a band-aid, two-state solution needed!

Exactly! Well said!

Brutal hypocrisy from Biden and the US government. Some 700,000 are dying of starvation right now, which could be alleviated by demanding the Israelis allow in the aid trucks. Biden is also blocking a ceasefire. This is the start of a colonial occupation, fully enabled by the US. Biden is an accomplice to genocide.

But Trump.....

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

If Hamas would stop stealing supplies, that might be a good start.

“The (Israeli military) will continue to operate against all Hamas battalions all over the strip

Israel needs to ramp up its offensive. Don't let up on the terrorists who preach genocide against the Jewish people and Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East.

Israel is doomed. Not by terrorists, or Islam, or by Palestinians, but by their own wickedness. Disgusting.

Go, Joe, go! Just tell the truth!

Caucus, not a primary, and they will all be voting for Biden in November. Unless you think Hawaii Super-Dems are somehow going to go for Trump?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

It’s a good idea, because the Israelis obviously don’t give a damn for the Palestinian civilians.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

It sounds like just another border opening where Israel gets to decide whats let in. You'll probably see settlers in boats blocking ships from docking at the port too and tanks firing at innocent people. Fingers crossed its successful though. Palestinians need all the help they can get.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

It sounds like just another border opening where Israel gets to decide whats let in.

It's Israel's land. Who else would decide? Hamas?

You'll probably see settlers in boats blocking ships from docking at the port too and tanks firing at innocent people.

Why would Gazan block ships from docking? And why would there be tanks on the ships?

Fingers crossed its successful though. Palestinians need all the help they can get.

The needed the help on October 6 when they could have decided against committing a massacre against innocent Israeli and other people.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Biden would do better by just biting the bullet and making that phone-call he should have made on October 8 into the ear of that Zionist war criminal to stop the unprecedented brutal slaughter of children and their parents with brazen malice aforethought. That said, Biden will never be able to wash the blood off his hands whatever he does from now on. No use crying over spilt blood (yet) - November still lies ahead.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Bravo, Too little too late.

Over 5000 aid truck are stock at Rafah crossing which could easily be inspected as always done at any borders, and allowed to deliver aid to all of Gaza ASSUMING that Netanyahu want's to, but that's not the plan.

The U.S. Elections are about 8 months away and what ever is being done now is just another Tactic and Bait to win the votes of Arabs, Muslims, and the anti war movement.

Israel is about to attack Rafah with over 1.5 million refugees scattered all over it, opening a " sea port ' means nothing when people are about to be Slaughtered!!!

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Here's a simple question Zibala...

Why did the IDF bulldoze olive plantations and destroy water infrastructure in Gaza if the fight is only against Hamas. ?

Is Hamas the only ones thirsty and hungry ?

I could ask why destroy museums but that leads into a discussion of cultural genocide.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

The U.S. and the U.K would do the Palestinians a big favor if the just stay out of this fight, better yet stop arming Israel or Arm the Palestinians too and see this war end in NO TIME.

Aiding one side with killing machines while air dropping food in the sea for starving people to collect is hypocrite, humiliating, and degrading.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I agree with this. Better than nothing and I give credit to Biden admin for coming up with this idea even if it is way too late and obviously politically motivated to stem the loss of Arab American votes. Still, step in the right direction. Lets see whether it will actually eventuate and how long will it take. Meanwhile how about stopping the supply of bombs to IDF and not vetoing UNSC ceasefire resolutions anymore Joe?

I bet the die hard democrats are having a very, very nervous day waiting for their leader to showcase his goods again to the world. How bad could it be? ( nervous side glance )

Just remember guys, all of the Trump diversion techniques, claims of MAGA deplorables and that anyone not with you is a fascist, a racist, a misogynist whatever you want, nothing can cover for the fact that this is the guy your collective has been chosen to head your cause. Biden has become a joke to the entire world, a sad one and a sign of the decline of the west, all been allowed to happen on your watch. How does the saying go, the proof be in the pudding.

Looking forward to the show. Pump him full of the good stuff, close your eyes, tap those red shiny shoes and hope for the best! Now that’s entertainment.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

But Trump.....

Orange Don is not the sitting president but it sure didn't take long for this card to be pulled out ,lol.

Biden crowd really cant help themselves. If Trump were a current POTUS with same policies as Joe than he would deserve to be equally criticized. Currently, it is Joe sending IDF the genocide bombs and vetoing UNSC ceasefire resolutions. Own it or even better stop it.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Occupier only provide airstrike,

Gaza is occupied by Hamas which Gazans hate.

Wait… Gazans voted for Hamas and Gazan civilians raided Israeli settlements in Israel on October 7. These people aren’t innocent bystanders.

Quite dangerous and stupid idea just to try to get votes

How stupid, following the will of the people. Only a bad leader would do that, right my MAGA brother?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

“The American people” don’t want this. Maybe your country does.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

“The American people” don’t want this.

Yes they do. They just don't tell you that on Fox (they lie you know). If you partook of non-extremist media, you'd know.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

How stupid, following the will of the people. Only a bad leader would do that, right my MAGA brother?

You mean all this time, until now Biden was consciously going against the will of the people, bypassing Congress, sending the genocide bombs to IDF and repeatedly vetoing UNSC ceasefire resolutions?

WSJ poll found that disapproval of Biden’s handling of the war is at 60%, eight points higher than it was in a December poll. Just over 30% of respondents said they backed Biden on the issue.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

You mean all this time, until now Biden was consciously going against the will of the people, bypassing Congress, sending the genocide bombs to IDF and repeatedly vetoing UNSC ceasefire resolutions?

Nah, he was doing what the people had previously indicated they wanted. Now he's dialing it in, as all quality leaders do.

The man truly is inspirational, nearly as good as Obama!

So what kind of news they have for you in Canada that makes you more informed than Americans about American issues?

News about America of course.

I know that the majority don’t want aid to Hamas. What do you know, as a non American too?

What does your country want done?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

I know that the majority don’t want aid to Hamas

Because all people in the Gaza strip are Hamas, right?

No extremist viewpoints here, carry on.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

The food aid will be taken from any people by Hamas. Just like the money is.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

The food aid will be taken from any people by Hamas.

Better not help the people then, make them all starve, on the off chance that someone else might eat. Right my MAGA brother?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Correct. We don’t aid terrorists.

So what’s your country contributing to these people?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Blacklabel

I know that the majority don’t want aid to Hamas. What do you know, as a non American too?

> What does your country want done?

My country is America.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

And you're willing to let innocent women and children die on the off chance it might aid said terrorists.

Very honorable of you.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Nah, he was doing what the people had previously indicated they wanted. Now he's dialing it in, as all quality leaders do.

Nah, voters clearly indicated they did not support White House Gaza policy months ago ( yet WH continues to send bombs to IDF )...but still, its better to slightly change tune late than never. At least there is that. -- Quote from a previous AP poll that was done back in January ( as opposed to the WSJ poll from February ) -

WASHINGTON (AP) --...Broadly, the poll shows support for Israel and the Biden administration's handling of the situation ebbing further across the board. The poll shows 31% of U.S. adults approve of Biden's handling of the conflict, including just 46% of Democrats. The poll shows 33% of Republicans now say Israel's military response has gone too far, up from 18% in November. Fifty-two percent of independents say that, up from 39%. Sixty-two percent of Democrats say they feel that way, roughly the same majority as in November. The findings include more worrying news for President Joe Biden when it comes to support from his own political party.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

“The American people” don’t want this. ----Yes they do. They just don't tell you that on Fox (they lie you know).

Nope bruh, they don't. ( AP poll findings yesterday)

WASHINGTON (AP) March 7, 2024 — As the U.S. navigates involvement in the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, few Americans want the country to take a more active role in solving the world’s problems, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The poll shows that 4 in 10 U.S. adults want America to broadly take a “less active” role in solving global conflicts. about one-third say its current role is about right, only about one-quarter think the U.S. should take a more active role. The findings underscore the difficult dynamics that both President Joe Biden and the likely Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, face in the leadup to next November’s election. Significant swaths of the electorate are frustrated by the searing images of the growing humanitarian crisis in the five month war in Gaza and the hefty costs already incurred by the U.S in helping Ukraine fend off Russia’s invasion.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Huh? If they didn't want this, then why is your MAGA brother claiming: Quite dangerous and stupid idea just to try to get votes.

You people need to straighten out your talking points"*

Lol, ask him bruh. What someone else thinks or says got nothing to do with me.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

So is he doing it for votes, because the people want it, or is he doing it in spite of what the people want, in which case, what are your comments about him doing it for the votes about?

Because right now, it's all just coming off as weak talking points.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Your country is doing nothing so you seem willing.

Says the guy who thinks its better to let all Palestinians on the Gaza strip die, lest one terrorist get a morsel of food.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Blacklabel

your country dropped 60,000 bombs and 15,000 food aid packages mostly into the ocean. Is that what Americans wanted?

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

your country

My country, not yours?

you have very conflicting messaging.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Biden doing very well with his State of the Union.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

The fact is that Israel is not blocking any aid coming into their land in Gaza.

The terrorists are taking food and supplies for themselves.

Regardless, Israel gave ample warning for everyone to leave the north, so nobody should be there in the first place, and so those that are assume all risks.

This is the most watched war in the history of the world, and at the same time it is the most humanitarian war being waged.

Israel as a country deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

So when US ships dock in Gaza and Hamas blows up one of them….what happens next?

dangerous decision just for Biden to get back the votes of Hamas supporters in the USA. Only reason he is doing this.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

The fact is that Israel is not blocking any aid coming into their land in Gaza.

They are holding up 5,000 aid trucks on the border.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Biden's motorcade from the WH to the Capitol for the SOTU was blocked by Gaza protestors and huge protests and he was forced to take an alternate route to avoid them.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Biden doing very well with his State of the Union.

He's burning the Republicans down in the SotU!

It's great. Of course, he's built up more than enough ammo, and that was without the Republicans banning abortion, banning IVF, and being the most dysfunctional congress in the history of America.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

So when US ships dock in Gaza and Hamas blows up one of them….what happens next?

Yes, better to let the women and children die then risk helping right?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Biden is really speaking for the people at the SotU. He just proposed a minimum tax rate of 25% on billionaires, to raise $500 billion over the next ten years.

Take back the $1 trillion Trump gave them, adding more to the deficit than Obama did in 8 years.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Biden's motorcade from the WH to the Capitol for the SOTU was blocked by Gaza protestors

Huh? Our right wingers are saying they don't exist, I think. Or maybe they are saying they do? Their whole talking point is very confusing.

He also repeated the lie about Hamas bases under hospitals.

Now he is bragging about bombing Yemen in reaction to Gaza.

Very interesting Russian spin on what he said.

I'm listening to it live, and no person without an anti-Biden/America vendetta would have heard what you said the way you claim it was.

The transcripts will be out there for people to fact-check you.

When Biden walked into the place, he was confronted by a member who said "Say her name" in reference to the murder of Georgia university student Laken Riley by an illegal immigrant. He coldly turned his back and walked away.

That's consistent because he has refused to say her name at all.
