“We hope the U.S. will work together with China to jointly strive to make the leaders’ summit a success and bring China-U.S. ties back to the right track of sound and stable development,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin

Wang is a racist muppet who needs to keep his trap shut. As for the Xi-male, he needs to understand that HE is the one causing tensions and no one else. The onus is on China and Xi-male to stop behaving like a thug.

Eleven should ask Biden how US satellites were able to find one mock ship used for hypersonic missile testing in the desert but can’t find the close to 400 so called concentration camps housing millions of Uighurs in Xinjiang.

Whatever you do Joe, DO NOT take Xi up on his offer to make you a fashion titan by making your clothing line in his sweatshop factories for millions of dollars...

We've seen how that works out - once he gets his claws into you, you start saying things like;

"Terrific working with President Xi, a man who truly loves his country.:

"In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”

"I think our relationship with China now might be the best it's been in a long, long time."

The White House is setting low expectations for the video call

I bet they are.

The president has criticized China for human rights abuses against ethnic minorities in northwest China, squelching pro-democracy efforts in Hong Kong

The US can't sort out their own human rights issues, let alone mentor other countries. China will walk all over them on this topic.

Yup, easily.

Those photos say it all.

The Chinese were able to steal much of the technologies from those companies and produce their own cheaper versions.

'Stealing', as you call it, happens with every country. If it didn't, only China would be using paper and gunpowder.

Unlike Trump, Biden does not call Xi a great leader.

I don't see Biden doing anything except sleep during COP26 and fly on jets with his entourage.

No, I wouldn't set high expectations either if I had to deal with America when it comes to dealing with climate change? China does more when it comes to forestation, investing in renewable energies and rail infrastructure, had to deal with the world's plastic garbage, and make goods for the rest of the world. And yet, America way surpasses China when it comes to GHG emissions per capita, and historical emissions. It's great that western countries like US and UK have managed to develop earlier, but suddenly countries like China and India aren't allowed to. Keeping the coolies at bay, right?

Well, you see that factory over there? There's a security guard. So, it must be a concentration camp. Someone's moving a large box. Must be slave labour. And those cotton fields. They can't possibly be owned by Uighurs, can they? Did you know all private buildings and factories in the west open their doors for any cameraman and reporter. In fact, even slaughterhouses in the west regularly have open days for the public and press.

Donald Trump presidency brought unpredictability to US relationship towards China.

Trumps impulsive early morning twitter rhetoric, emotional provocation.

His denial of the clearly undeniable.

This behavior, pulled the Government of China up.

What would he say or do next.

Trump could be described and a loose cannon with a finger on the trigger.

In other words a firework that fails to go off, when lit, however could randomly explode in your face.

That I suggest held the Government of China back.

Yeah, too right. Blacks getting shot by police, Asians being physically abused. Don't get me started on brown people after 9-11. People also shouted at for having a private conversation in Spanish. And the high incarceration rate for Blacks and then we have Guantanamo Bay? Funny how there's little mention of the Uighur terrorists who were brought to Guantanamo from Syria. These people have no qualms about killing other innocent Uighurs, all in the name of Salafism? And America wants to support these people?!

Didn't hold them back from rolling into Hong Kong and taking over in 2019 - who was President then - and did nothing?

Yup, easily.

Moe examples of how the US far-right support China over their own government...

Where is the one from here? Four years and we still haven't seen it....

More far-right China cheering...

Pretty easy to tell in MAGA-world, Russia and China are admired - and are role models...

It was the big American corporations that moved their productions to China at the cost of millions of jobs. They are the sinners. Profits first and foremost.

And what is Biden doing to mitigate that?

The world pandemic has hit those companies and now suffers from the supply chains.

The Chinese were able to steal much of the technologies from those companies and produce their own cheaper versions.

Both parties sold out.

America produces cotton, exporting the fibre while importing 90% of its cotton products.

No, but he's not in his face either, No threats or bold talks, or assertiveness, seems like Xi is once again calling the shots

-Reuters

“China has an overall goal ... to become the leading country in the world, the wealthiest country in the world, and the most powerful country in the world,” “That’s not going to happen on my watch because the United States is going to continue to grow.”

“He’s one of the guys, like Putin, who thinks that autocracy is the wave of the future, (and) democracy can’t function in an ever-complex world”

“He (Xi) doesn’t have a democratic - with a small ‘d’ - bone in his body, but he’s a smart, smart guy,”

Biden

Well, that did not age well at all......

They were not from Syria.

Afghanistan? Even worse!

China is the largest producer of CO2, 27%

I have already explained this multiple times. Per capita, USA is far ahead. And China produces that much because it is making goods for you, me and the guy next door. You want China to produce less CO2? Then start getting foreign companies to move back home and produce goods yourselves. And I noticed you didn't say anything about building infrastructure, renewables and forestation. Your generation has enjoyed everything and ruined this planet at the same time.

He told Trump to cancel his long-term clothing contracts that give the CCP millions each year...

“Just had a long and very good conversation by phone with President Xi of China. He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days … Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation."

And what is Biden doing to mitigate that?

What the US would have to do is run budget surpluses for a few decades. That means tax increases, a reduced military and fewer public services. There is no other way. The reason for the trade deficit is the ready availability of US debt instruments on global financial markets. Nations intending to run a trade surplus with the US use their excess US Dollars to buy those US Treasury notes. Doing that prevents Dollars from building up in surplus that would drive their value down, drive up the value of trading partner's currencies and otherwise self-correct the trade imbalance. The US is its own worst enemy by deficit spending because it hands its trade partners the means to perpetuate the US trade deficit. Raise taxes, cut services and the military to run budget surpluses and the trade imbalance will quickly begin to subside. This is the one and only way to get out of the current trade deficit. There is no other way.

That really would be entertaining in a tragi-comedy way, but we know the answer is NO.
