China starts to show their ugly colors along the line of economics and military power? Tibet anyone? China would be better without communism since men do not live by (bread) moo goo gai pan alone.

China's hunger for fuel resources is driving them for as much land grabs as they feel they can get their hands on. Just because chinese historical records say that they've seen the islands doesn't mean they own them. The land mass is just TOO FAR AWAY buddy! US and Russia need to put a block on that.

China should be confronted regionally as the sea is surrounded by the ASEAN nations. The Philippines and Japan as well, should enter into a more comprehensive agreement to mutually defend thier rightful interests
