Well Yoshisan88, given that NSW has had 4,542 confirmed cases vs 20,345 for Victoria, and 53 deaths in NSW vs 819 in Victoria, it’s not hard to say that NSW’s figures leave Victoria’s in the dust, and with far less collateral damage.

NSW did screw up, but the effects of Victoria’s bungle were much worse. Surely you can’t argue that Andrews and his lot did better.

Hi there Victoria,

Thanks to a far more competent and honest government, a lot better than you poor sods.

Love, NSW

Hi there NSW,

Remember the Ruby Princess fiasco. Do not get too cocky.

The border between New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria states closed in July due to an outbreak of COVID-19 around Melbourne - Australia's second-largest city. It was the first such border closure since 1919 when Australia was battling the Spanish flu.

Spanish flu? Really, it didn't start in Spain.
