Make an orbit and we'll call it a spaceflight.

These guys have more money than class.

Nice. In a few years all of us may be able to do this. Leave Earthly paradise for a few moments.

Billionaires competing to enter LEO which Glenn did over half a century ago funded by an economy with over 75 percent taxes on the highest earnings. Not to mention Gagarin.

Who said the capitalist free market is the most innovative and efficient?

Great. All while people are starving, dying and living in poverty all around the globe. Who cares.

Egotists. There is absolutley no point to this particular aspect of the space race.

Wouldn't it be a damn shame if their massive egos got them both killed?

Not much point in having billions if you can’t follow your dreams.

"I truly believe that space belongs to all of us," Branson said,”

I truly believe that space belongs to none of us and that we should deal with own problems before polluting space as well.

I have absolutely no problem with rich people wasting their money in space trips if that helps the development of the field. It would be better if the money was dedicated to a more worthy cause (like directly supporting research) but there are many other ways to throw money away that would not indirectly benefit humanity as this.

Wally Funk, is a an inspiration. on the other hand, Richard Branson is a tax exile.

The winner should release an energy drink called EGO

No politics here, but personally I wouldn't want to be on any of these "test flights."

Ho hum. I don't think anyone considers 100km up to be space, where the acceleration due to gravity isn't distinguishable from that at ground level. Weightlessness? Well yes, like on a swing

I'd rather work for Branson than Bezos. At least Branson is interesting.

Sub-orbital flight could be the future of air travel. Imagine travelling from Tokyo to New York in two hours.

Sir Richard ROCKS!

Remember when just countries used to compete with one another to be the first to whatever?

Now it's the ridiculously wealthy doing it.

Didn't these guys build those companies, which will put regular people into space someday?

Not sure what all the hate is about.
