This "climate change" hoax is simply more racism from The Left. You-know-who will surely get carbon credits while they attemp to stamp out the opposition.

If the first world consumes many times more resources per person than the 3rd world then should we not concentrate on the first world? Do you have an opinion?

cow76 - Like you and me cows fart methane, not CO2. I believe the numbers are 9% from human related farming but as methane is a stronger greenhouse gas its regarded as a 20% equivalent. Changing feed and reducing growth compounds would improve cow emmissions no end. Thats not to say we couldnt all do with cutting down meat consumption a bit.

It isnt that western Europeans will decrease in future, its that developing countries populations will increase exponentially.

You cant decry meat raising in one statement and then say people should take more milk, youre contradicting yourself. Meat rasing does take a lot of resource, but meat also delivers very well. Done in a responsible manner meat farming is fine. Its certainly not as wasteful or damaging as the constant drilling out of the water table to raise inappropriate vegetables for export as goes on in India.

Whats been missed here is that in developing nations with little access to contraception, families become large and cumbesome very quickly. This perpetuates poverty and stunts the development these countries need so badly to raise living standards. In fact if living standards could be raised to an acceptable level it would probably alleviate much of the tension that leads to the massive radicalism we see today. Just a thought.

More food will be there, if more people eat vegetables,milk protein products,milk and fruits.

The Elephant is huge and strong just on a vegetarian diet.

Humans can be as strong as Elephant, by just consuming lots of vegetarian food.

The elephant's strength is an example of strength in nature,for Asia/Africa.

Eating less meat is certainly the most constructive thing most people can do." Hey, I like you. I've been saying that since 2000. I've been a veg since 2000, but I don't refuse if offered as a guest. Red Meat makes you fat and you take up more space and the amount of space to raise just one cow is amazingly large.

Throwing away food products like milk and vegetables in West,is a bad practise for rest of world.

Ecological destructions caused by west/western companies, is many times more as compared to third world nations.

What about adoption of babies from poor nations by west,this also suggest that west needs east,to maintain its population. World population is already being controlled by many factors.

57 milliion deaths or more a year is there in world, the population of world will control itself via nature's aging laws.

If a nation has less in resources,it will reduce population via lack of resources.

If a nation is rich in resources,it can increase its populations,if it has high births.

Eating less meat is certainly the most constructive thing most people can do. I believe about 20% of CO2 comes directly or indirectly from meat farming (land clearing/animals farting/increased water usage etc etc). It's about the same as all the cars put together...

Remind me again... who uses more resources, an American/Australian/Brit or an Indian/Phillipino/African? Because our ecological footprints are many, many, many times higher in the West we should try to improve our own environmental practices before blaming the third world.

This step should have taken place decades ago.
