Trigger happy red bull high henchmen.

whenever you are in hostile uncivilized areas you have incidents like this -be happy you came out alive.

These guys will walk. -They are not bound by American gun laws.

maybe we should wait and see the outcome of the trial before we so ignorantly label them as "trigger happy red bull high henchmen".

Any criticism of the scumbags who fired on the Blackwater guards?

Witnesses said Blackwater was unprovoked.

What scumbags?

"Witnesses said Blackwater was unprovoked"

Those "witnesses" are lying, Cleo.

Denay mode is amazing, it always come with that thing called nationalism.

Those "witnesses" are lying, Cleo.

Why do you say that, Sarge? Because you think they were Iraqis so grateful to be liberated that they'll say anything to get Americans in trouble? According to the article some of the witnesses appear to have been fellow Blackwater men.

By the time the shooting stopped, 17 Iraqis, including children, were dead

Were the children scumbags, too? Or was it their own fault for standing in the way of the bullets?

Sarge at 11:57 PM JST - 8th December

Any criticism of the scumbags who fired on the Blackwater guards?

No body fired on these guards, Sarge. Didn't you hear about it?

Sarge at 12:08 AM JST - 9th December

Those "witnesses" are lying, Cleo.

And you interviewed the witnesses when and where?

Sarge, you need to wait till they at least have the trial and see what the evidence is, don't you? < :-)

Just pretend the kids were killed by Muslim terrorists. I think you'll find your outrage will fade pretty quickly. Why, you might even find yourself defending them! Care to give us a root cause? Who else can we blame for making them open fire? Shall we talk about how killing innocents with machine guns in a place like Iraq brings relative stability?

Come on, say it with me:

Sure, these men were bad, BUT....

Or how about this: I don't support what they did, but I can certainly understand their anger. (insert 500 word diatribe about how thes men were wronged, end with "but I don't support them" as the final sentence).

SuperLib - Just pretend the kids were killed by Muslim terrorists.

I'm not sure about Muslim terrorists, but the Blackwater guards were terrirists.

SuperLib wants us to forget that the Iraqis killed were relying on the US to act responsibily.

Remember we were going to have Iraqis singing and throwing flowers at our feet. Maybe that's why the Blackwater guards were firing, they weren't getting the songs and flowers.

I'm just waiting to hear evidence and what the one guards who has pleaded guilty of manslaughter. < :-)

That's it superlib. As long as we are slightly better than the bad guys, we're the good guys.

You've learned your lesson well. You have a little mustache though. You may want to wipe that off.

The F.B.I. concluded that at least 14 of the 17 fatal shootings in Nisour Square were unjustified, saying that Blackwater guards recklessly violated American rules for the use of lethal force. Military investigators went further, saying that all of the deaths were unjustified and potentially criminal. Iraqi authorities characterized the incident as "deliberate murder."

So, I guess now the F.B.I. and U.S. military are now terrorist-supporters.

"Sarge, you need to wait till they at least have the trial and see what the evidence is, don't you?"

But you don't have to wait for the trial to condemn them.

If it's proven these Blackwater guards committed crimes, they should be appropriately punished.

They have a tough and dangerous job.

SuperLib -

I think you'll find your outrage will fade pretty quickly. Why, you might even find yourself defending them!

Why do you think I might do that? Because I've defended other scumbag killers of innocents? ....Actually no I don't believe I have. Ever.

Maybe you just see a post that expresses an opinion at odds with your own, and assume that the writer must be one with 'the enemy'. A bit like the terrorists on both sides do. Or are you unable to see that?

Let's just say that I'll bet a month's salary the Blackwater threads get more posts from outraged liberals than all of the threads dealing with Saddam's mass graves combined. ;)

superlib,

For whom do you have higher expectations?

Blackwater employees make a lot of money.

That's enough for some people313 to condemn them regardless of evidence or a judge's decision.

Wow. That was a pretty judgmental post there toofargone. I'd like to judge you in return, but, I know, I know. I can't because you aren't quite as radical as the other side's radicals (they get the nod because they actually act upon their beliefs as opposed to demanding other people's kids do so on your behalf). So...let me present you with the same question I posed to superlib: Who do you have higher expectations for ethics and accountability, saddam hussein or blackwater employees, hired by the U.S. State Dept.?
