He's not a double agent anymore.

I find double agents like him exciting and interesting, because he was fooling two organizations. but what he did was totally wrong, nothing justifies murder!

some14some, if he was working for the CIA and then pulled this off, then the only way he couldn't be a double agent is if he was working alone, which is unlikely.

this sounds like that movie "World of Lies" with DiCaprio and Crowe. Lot of double agenting in that movie.
