He's trying to make the trial last forever to cause more harm. And that Russian accent is fakery; he speaks accentless English.

A weapon of mass destruction? A pressure cooker filled with explosives is a WMD? No wonder Iraq WMD's have never been found - the inspectors forgot to check the kitchen.

Lacey Buckley, 23, said she has never met Tsarnaev but came because she believes he’s innocent. “I just think so many of his rights were violated. They almost murdered an unarmed kid in a boat,” she said.

GTFO.

Really don't know how his supporters can continue to deny that he is guilty when he has admitted it himself.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Not guilty my a$$! His attorney wants to plea a deal.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Maybe his supporters can explain why someone who is "innocent" hijacked a car and killed a policeman?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

While the guy needs to fry and fry hard they are charging him with a "weapon of mass destruction", I would think he didn't have a nuke?

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Good luck with that. His only supporters are conspiracy nutjobs.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

With all this NSA spying, how did they miss this?! Can anyone say false flag? WMD? Give me a break! Pathetic, the whole thing.

@simondb

It was a weapon of mass destruction. It's purpose was to cause widespread carnage to injure and mayme a massive group of people on a massive scale and it did just that. It wasn't a simple bomb. The device had nails and shrapnel which tore through flesh and bone.

So, yes, it was in a sense a WMD.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

It's very obvious that when you look at the pictures, there's no way that the backpacks that they were wearing match the color of the backpack that was part of the exploded unit. Also obvious is that you can't get a 10 quart pressure cooker bomb inside one of those packs and have them look as limp as they did bobbling around. They would have weighed at least 30 pounds, shows up much different than just easily walking through without any weight on the backpack on his shoulder. Why was the Jumbotron removed in advance? That's where the second bomb exploded.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Very funny! Innocent?? In the eyes of this warped twisted terrorist! Burn in hell dude!!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

So if a person of his belief does this in America, it is criminal. But if he does this in China, it is a call for freedom. I do not condone this kind of act anywhere in the world and the US better know this. They can continue with their double standards but "heroes" like this will continue to increase in numbers despite what the NSA does!

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

A weapon of mass destruction? A pressure cooker filled with explosives is a WMD?

3 dead, 260 injured. Sure sounds like a WMD to me.

CrazyJoe - do you have an explanation for why they hijacked a car, told the driver they had committed the bombings and shot a police officer dead, shot at police and finally were captured and/or killed too?

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Sorry, these 2 guys are TERRORISTS and they are enjoying their freedom on speech in the USA, then they will enjoy the DEATH PENALTY too!!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

So if a person of his belief does this in America, it is criminal. But if he does this in China, it is a call for freedom.

And why do you figure that is? Please elaborate.

About a dozen Tsarnaev supporters cheered as his motorcade arrived, yelling, “Justice for Jahar!” as Tsarnaev is known. One woman held a sign that said, “Free Jahar.”

wtf, can we get these people on a plane and fly them back to whereever they came from or at least far away from our society.

Definition of WMD according to WIKI:-

<

For the purposes of US criminal law concerning terrorism,[29] weapons of mass destruction are defined as: any "destructive device" defined as any explosive, incendiary, or poison gas - bomb, grenade, rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces, missile having an explosive or incendiary charge of more than one-quarter ounce, mine, or device similar to any of the devices described in the preceding clauses[30] any weapon that is designed or intended to cause death or serious bodily injury through the release, dissemination, or impact of toxic or poisonous chemicals, or their precursors any weapon involving a biological agent, toxin, or vector any weapon that is designed to release radiation or radioactivity at a level dangerous to human life[31]

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Strange definition in that there is no mention of the fact that the weapon is designed to kill a mass of people (not 'mass' in the sense of physical mass, ie objects) without discrimination as to gender, age or sex.

Perhaps such devices should be redefined as "an IWG", ie an " Indiscriminate Weapon of Genocide".

Off with his head!

This guy was caught red handed on video and he has the gonads to plead not guilty. Despicable!!

Having studied the facts about this in a thorough manner, i can say that this is not as it seems. Many post here with posts that are 100% influenced by the mainstream media. However if you followed this on a daily basis you would have seen that the official line changed many times as did who was responsible. It is easier to believe the mainstream and the same as the majority, however it is the easy (lazy) option. Not every fact has been revealed, and many more may come out before and during trial.

What i find amusing is those that want this suspect dead and sent to hell are those who do not want him to have a fair trial. They don't want to delve into the facts, their mind is made up and of course what the mainstream media and government say is always 100% true and anyone who disagrees is always called a nutjob.

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

falseflagsteve

since you seem to know everything that no one else knows, wanna enlighten us on these so-called facts you studied?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

100% influenced by the mainstream media

zzzzzzz.

Not every fact has been revealed

Such as what exactly?

many more may come out before and during trial

'may' come out before and during (the) trial? You do not seem to know any more than the people you seem to be berating for watching what you refer to as the 'mainstream media'.

They don't want to delve into the facts

As asked above: what 'facts' are you talking about and where did you here about them?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@Slumdog

Of course i said "may" i am not saying he is innocent or guilty of the charges unlike some on here who want him sent to hell, etc... I do know more as i make an effort to know more, but watch CNN and whatever and feel secure that people like me are nutjobs.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I have a feeling this is going to on and on and on and on. I'm already exhausted from this trial and it's just started. Put him away in an American prison for life.

23 y/o moron. I wonder if her beliefs in his innocence would change if her legs were violated by the shrapnel, nails, etc from those bombs?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

When defendant plead not guilty, they lose negotiation chances of lesser conviction in USA. Many criminals say 'Guilty;' to avoid harsher sentence, but not him. The 'not guilty' is dangerous to his life, he does not know or he is not adviced?.

I do know more as i make an effort to know more, but watch CNN and whatever and feel secure that people like me are nutjobs.

You know more (than who) about what? You have not provided any facts. What have you learned from 'not watching CNN' ?

If you are going to claim that there is more to the case and if you are going to claim you know more (than CNN), why not give people a clue as to what you are talking about?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

How much taxpayer money is going to be spent on this terrorist?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@bass4funk Incidents like this happened in China. To me these acts are criminal. However whenever they happened in China, western media, especially US government called for restraint on the part of the Chinese government and allow greater freedom. But when it happens in their territory, they call for blood, death penalty and some even ask for the head! The US better stop all this double talk as I believe more of such incidents will happen in US soil despite what the NSA does,

@Asian

However whenever they happened in China, western media, especially US government called for restraint on the part of the Chinese government and allow greater freedom.

Because In China when protesters demonstrate and want to express their views, feelings and injustices and long for freedom and democracy, the government cracks down. Any disitent or dissent in China gets squashed, protesters jailed or subjected to house arrest or death in a worst case scenario.

But when it happens in their territory, they call for blood, death penalty and some even ask for the head! The US better stop all this double talk as I believe more of such incidents will happen in US soil despite what the NSA does,

US case is completely different. The bombers called for death and did a lot of serious damage. Google and look at the photos. People in Boston were watching a marathon, enjoying themselves, people coming together and these two idiots decide to make some nail bombs and are having a tantrum about Muslims being persecuted by the west? So the bombs and the carnage they left behind was a scene out of a horror movie. So even if people call for the death of these guys, well, one of them is dead ( thanks to the imcompetence of his younger brother ) it's only natural. But that won't happen, no one in the states will take him out and behead him. He's going to get a fair trail and hopefully, he'll spend the rest of his natural life in prison and never, see the light of day again.

That's the fundemental difference. No double talk. I don't know where you got that from. Unlike the US, China doesn't and never promotes democracy on virtually any level, unlike the US.

When defendemt plead "mot guilty:", he/she loses a chance to get negotiation of lesser sentence. (by his defense attorney. usually as defendants are not experts to discuss with prosecutors or judge) He said "not guilty' 30 times. Even he gets only one death sentence, that is it. Experienced criminals usually let his attorney handle his case. Not this one. He has a guarantee of Death Sentence. in USA.

How much taxpayer money is going to be spent on this terrorist?

Gilberto Junior, who owns an auto body shop in Somerville, just saw them as “regular kids,” even if they had a taste for expensive cars. So it did not especially alarm him when Dzhokhar rushed in on Tuesday, the day after the bombing, and said he needed his car immediately, never mind that the repairs had not been done and the white Mercedes wagon had no bumper and no taillights.

Amid revelations that alleged Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was attending UMass Dartmouth despite an outstanding bill of more than $20,000, the college said that students can remain enrolled without full payment if loans and financial aid are expected to come through. A university spokesman declined to discuss the Tsarnaev situation in particular, citing federal privacy law. But he said students in certain circumstances may continue their classes with significant bills for tuition and room and board. An unpaid balance of $20,000, however, is unusual, Hoey said. “Most balances are relatively low,” he said. For in-state students, UMass Dartmouth costs about $22,000 a year, including room and board.

-Trips from Moscow to Boston are ~$1000 one way. Tamerlan/Dagestan/2012. Where is all the money for this coming from. Can a Mother and wife shoplifting support this much.

@Serrano: you started, "How much taxpayer money is going to be spent on this terrorist?" Are you suggesting that USA should not spend any money to prosecute him in any court? Why you are against him to be tried in court?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

He has a guarantee of Death Sentence.

He already had a "death sentence" ==> look at the holes in that boat. Note: He was also unarmed.

@badsey3: Your death sentence is not legal Death Sentence performed to Death row inmate. Are you stating that court should not give a death sentence verdict? When your death saentence was performed? He is still alive.

I am saying the decision to kill this person has already been made. = Good luck in seeing any sort of jury trial. You don't knife a person in the throat for no reason. The only reason he was not killed is that media was able to get cameras on the position and they were rolling (the police/FBI knew this and stopped the killing). He was very lucky and should already have been dead.

I do believe he is innocent (did not commit the bombings), but financially I have questions (most likely ties to CIA/Muslim groups that were pulling financial strings for him and brother = ordered to be there with a bag on their backs and a hat).
