another self obsessed fool...

The chickens have come home to roost.

Yep, another trump a different day. First, BJ.....now JB. I am pretty sure DT Jr. has it because we haven't heard from him very much since his girlfriend Guilfoyle was infected which means other trump members are also infected. All three leaders have meet each other during the outbreak and has had close staff members all test positive.
All 3 countries elected incompetent self-obsessed fools that ignored the threat and failed as their leaders, and all 3 countries are suffering for it.
The Avenger
Covid-19 couldn't have happened to a more deserving maniac. The right-wing, authoritarian science-denier has not only failed to provide national leadership in the face of the pandemic, he has sabotaged every effort to deal with it.
MarkX
My big fear is that he uses this as an excuse not to take any precautions. If he recovers quickly, he will say that the virus is not so bad, you get a little sick and then get one with your life. Unfortunately there is a large segment of his population and in the US that will eat that up and not follow proper protocols for social distancing and mask usage.

How many others did this idiot infect because of his irresponsible behavior!!!!

It was only a matter of time.

A vile person (and a bona fide fascist). 'nuff said.

I never liked the bloke and disagree with many of his views, but in this particular case I think he has a good point.
Fighto!
Bolsanaro is a dumb fool like dumb Boris Johnson. I wonder how many people he infected? Brazil has so many dirt poor people who simply die painfully with no access to ICU.
Wear a mask, emphasize social distance, do NOT shake hands, and set an example, stupid Bolsanaro.

In a strange way, this bonehead testing positive for the coronavirus may help to reverse some of the damage he's already done there by downplaying it, but he can't downplay it now. Maybe now people in Brazil will take this deadly virus more seriously.

I agree. I'm glad he tested positive, and if he dies it might be a wake up call for many people. considering the kind of fascist he is, I hope he does

Following his “good points” has led to over 60,000 dead Brazillians and his country being ravaged by the virus more than anywhere but the US, which it might actually overtake.
If those are his “good points”, I would hate to see what his bad ones are.

Everyone knew Bolsonaro gets the corona virus sooner or later. And I just wonder when Trump would get one. He also doesn't want to wear it in public.
Jimizo
Not a surprise. Lucky for him that he’s in a position to receive the best treatment his country can offer if it turns serious. The poorer people of his country don’t have that luxury.
These posturing idiots get people killed.
Toasted Heretic
Serves him right.
Mocheake
I know what I want to write but I shouldn't so...wish him a speedy recovery. Oh, that was hard to write!

President Bolsonaro - isn't it time for a little golf and a few drinks with your BFF President Trump?
And don't worry about the masks and hand sanitizer, we know you both hate them...
PTownsend
Bolsonaro is showing his hubris could be terminal. His so-called 'populist' appeal is little different from Trump's and Johnson's. They're in office to look out for their fellow 'elites'. They care not a single F for the general population.
Kuruki
How many people have died in Brazil because of his stupidity?
Perhaps having pipes connected to his lungs and struggling to breathe will finally give him a wake up call that this is a PANDEMIC for a reason!

I have been in Brazil once and in my opinion (more of a gut feeling largely based on peoples temper there) cornering the dirt poor people in lockdown would have backfired into massive protests if not riots and who knows maybe even lot scarier numbers.
I don't think anyone in power in Brazil could have done much about the spread.
And same as DT, BJ (as in the person), JB is there for a reason which also holds the key to the real problems these days.
starpunk
Another fascist loudmouth like Trump. CoVid-19 knows no prejudices or boundaries. Ask Bozo of the UK. And Trump had better shut his yap, for he could be next in line. He is also playing with loaded dice.
Sneezy
I hope that this is the last time that Bolsonaro gets sick.
WilliB
He is relatively young, not obese, and is sensibly taking hydroxychloroqunie (hopefully in combination with zinc), which has a good track record.
He will be OK.

BigYen
Unlike the various medications touted by Big Pharma (not to mention Gates vaccine), hydroxychloroquine is cheap and can be produced generically. How the supply to the Favelas is I don´t know, and I doubt you do either.
lostrune2
Lol, when he said Covid-19 is just a small flu, why is he taking special precautions
What about those poor people he told it's just a small flu, but don't have access to special precautions like he does
Desert Tortoise
Poetic justice.
lostrune2
Not anymore. Because Bolsonaro has been promoting it, that increased demand with supplies limited, so the price has been going up. People paying more for what can turn out to be non-effective
Zaphod

Got any source for that claim? I didnt know that people world-wide listen Bolsonaro as a drug advisor. And fact is, since it can be manufactured generically, there is no big profit for big pharma in this one, so unsurprisingly they are not promoting it.
And the fake media is only invested in this issue because Trump mentioned it. Trump could recommend drinking water, and the fake media would cackle against that.

"Governments including those in the US and Brazil have lined up to purchase hydroxychloroquine from Indian companies, which are also under pressure from New Delhi to supply the drug to frontline health workers. Surging demand has pushed up prices across the supply chain."
