Brazilian woman to auction off virginity for second time

A 21-year-old Brazilian woman who auctioned off her virginity online for $780,000 last year now says she wants to sell it again as the deal was never consummated.

In October last year, Catarina Migliorini took part in an online auction as part of the "Virgins Wanted" documentary organized by Australian filmmaker Justin Sisely.

A Japanese identified only as Natsu beat out competition from 14 other men, mainly from Brazil, but also from India, Australia and the United States.

But in a video, Migliorini now insists: "I am still a virgin in every sense of the word and no one can prove me wrong."

The young woman, who posed nude next to a pink teddy bear in Playboy magazine, opened her own website VirginsWanted2.com to hold a second sale of her virginity to the highest bidder.

"I decided to open my own webpage to auction off my virginity and this time it will be for real. So those interested, men or women, can make their bids," she said.

She told the Brazilian showbiz website PurePeople.com.br that she hopes to bring in at least $680,000.

So what really happened with Natsu last year?

"I met Natsu in a Sydney restaurant. He was not a 53-year-old man as Justin (Sisely) claimed. He was a 21-year-old Japanese. I was surprised and no deal was struck between him and I," said Migliorini, who added that she will give details of the failed transaction in an upcoming book.

It was not clear whether Migliorini ever received any money from Natsu.

Meanwhile Migliorini's mother, Mary, said she was "flabbergasted" by her daughter's decision, according to PurePeople.com.br.

"I don't approve but I won't stop loving her. I love my daughter unconditionally ...But I don't get this," she added.

According to Britain's Daily Mail, Migliorini's decision to sell her virginity to the highest bidder last year sparked outrage across the globe, with some claiming she was little more than a prostitute.

But she then defended the move.

"I saw this as a business. I have the opportunity to travel, to be part of a movie and get a bonus with it," she was quoted by the Mail as saying.

I would like to know more about 21 year old Japanese guy. Crazy.

Ehere does a 21-year-old get that kind of money? Or was the whole thing a stunt, and no money changed hands?

I believe she is a virgin after I see a doctors certificate. Sounds like a money making scam from the start to me.

Idiots appealing to other idiots, and the rest of the world stands by watching and shaking their heads.

21 years old, Brazilian, and still a virgin? What can be wrong with her?

Each to their own I suppose but if I was stupid enough to splash hundreds of thousands of dollars on having a woman I would want one who knows what shes doing!

What's bizarre to me is that she would reject a man her own age but accept one her father 's...

This just strikes me as rather pathetic. She's prepared to have sex with a stranger just for cash and a film role? Hmm, what is it you call girls like that again? Oh yeah... tarts!

“I decided to open my legs again to auction off my virginity and this time it will be for real. So those interested, men or women, can make their bids,” she said.

I don't blame her. The world is material world and $ 680,000 is a lot for this young woman. It will change her life in country like Brazil. Prostitutes and call girls get $ 50 - $ 1000. If she get $ 680,000 for her virginity and then good for her. However, sex for money is prostitution.

To be more precise, a "prostitute-wanna-be". Justifying it as a "business decision" doesn't change the fact that, if successful, she has entered the world's oldest business.
