What does it mean "Most people arriving in Britain from Monday will have to self-isolate ".

That means not everyone, right?

Who is allowed to enter Britain without any self isolating?

Anyway I am zero interested in traveling to Britain.

This article made me smile when this was announced on the radio the other day, who is going to be checking to see if you'r in self isolation? the police? if so the police force is basically a skeleton crew, since we have had sweeping austerity measures imposed on us some years ago to get public spending down, the police force is stretched to the limit, the judicial system is grid locked as the CPS is a skeleton crew, its a joke. as a result crime here is on the increase, I know of stacks of companies that have been broken into, tens thousands of pounds of equipment and tools were stolen, and they don't even come out to investigate the crime, they usually give the victim a crime number so they can claim off there insurance. so just remind me who, and how are they going to check up weather if were self isolating?

Right. Read the article, it says those exempt are lorry drivers, "essential" healthcare workers and people travelling from Ireland who have been there for at least two weeks.

But for the past three months, at the peak of the pandemic, there were NO quarantine rules..... Hmm..Horses, stable doors...??? Too little too late seems to be the Boris strategy.

Whats the point of having ANY quarantines now? Should have been done months ago. Far too late, don't bother.

What a waste of time.

Yay ! !

And BLUE passports!

Prime Minister Cummings is doing a palpably false job.

Home Secretary Priti Patel told skeptical lawmakers in parliament last week that the measure was "backed by the science, supported by the public, and essential to save lives".

What an absurd and risible statement to make.

Pointless closing the paddock when the horse bolted months ago.

If I wanted to visit relatives or carry out business, I would be required to choose between self-isolation at the family home or next to the office coffee machine carrying out meetings masked up, through the key hole.

When furloughing starts to be scaled back, business will have to decide if or when to throw in the towel.

Ineffectual Boris Johnson aided and abetted by a truly hapless bunch of incompetents will be dragged through the streets to the pillory to be pelted with all the rotting food waste accumulated from one failed policy after another.
