In all seriousness, this either belongs in the entertainment section or a tabloid section should be created. I think I speak for many here when I say that I am just plain sick of even scanning past news of the royals.

@Scott Johnson: and yet you still take time out of your busy schedule to write a critical comment.
Is it that you just can't help yourself and have to complain? Life's too short, my friend. Next time you see a headline you have no interest in whatsoever, keep on going.
There's something for everyone on JT, including international news of this kind, and I am pleased to have the ample choice, so that I am able to read whatever interests me.

Thing is I have to scan it first. I don't want tabloid in my world news, anymore than I want to pick pieces of corn off my pizza.
I do usually avoid commenting on this sort of thing, but enough is enough. I see Will and Kate stuff everywhere, not only here, but I notice that people are not commenting and I suggest they may feel the same as myself.
Again, I am good with Will and Kate "news" but it should just be in its proper place. World news? I don't think so.

Best wishes to the new parents and baby.

I can hardly wait until the new infant turns 18 and scandal coverage by the paparazzi commences!
Jimizo
@Virtuoso Let's hope the tabloids will have grown out of this by then. Hang on, tabloids....grown...maybe not.

Don't be silly. It belongs in the sports pages of The Sun, along with the current betting odds on the name of the kid. Tatsunori at 1000 to 1

Reporters and their camera people were all over in front of the hospital where his father was born many years ago. Congratulation to British people !

Nice one... a future king. Unlike the republicans on here I don't mind stories about my country's royals. Japanese as well as other countries' media are naturally intetested...why not? What's wrong with a bit of fluff? There's more than enough bad news in the world, so let's have some lighter stuff... although some people clearly just want to grumble about anything and everything.
Congrats to Will and Kate!

All of our local Las Vegas media anchors are excited and get reports from England. For change, we have bright news today instead of daily murders and Egypt news.
