He is just one terrorist suspect on UK's terror list of 3,000 or so. Many, many have similar stories. And as we know now, there are many dangerous Muslims who arent even on that list. So how long should that list really be?

Agree. Have not read about any Chinese, Swiss, Finish, Japanese or Singaporean terrorist making trouble in the UK.

@zichi

"Even with Jihadist John you can't pass judgement on his family or the 3 million other Muslims."

"If you continue to behave like this, not a single European, not a single westerner will be able to take a step on the road safely anytime in the world"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, just hours before the latest terrorist attack in London, whose Muslim mayor has called moderate Muslims "uncle Toms" and terrorism "just something we have to learn to live with"

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

"Have you ever lived in Britain"

Yes, I have. I've also been back about 20 times since.

"The same kind of treatments what Caribbean people experienced."

And yet they're more than happy to stay. Because they know for whatever "injustice" they get in UK -- like their free house in Maida Vale not being big enough for their 7 member family -- they still know that secular Western UK is a million times better than the sad, intolerant and backward societies they left. And when their sons commit mass murder against UK citizens in the name of their alien God, we're supposed to be understanding and sympathetic. No way.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

"They start to strike out at the injustices."

Research finds ZERO correlation between radicalization and socio-economic background. They can be rich, middle class or poor. They can have loads of white friends or none. Or some.

Jihadi John, to name only one, was from Maida Vale, who lived in a large house the state gave his family for FREE. His mother received state benefits for FREE. He had a very good university education, presumably paid for by the state. How much is a country supposed to do? Oh, the injustice!

He is one of a long list I could give you. It's all about an intolerant, medieval, revengeful creed.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

We don't know his background yet, right? Well, nearly all the jihadi attackers in UK and Europe attacks are done by people of immigrant background. Tighter immigration policies over the years could well have prevented many if not all the major attacks.

We do: "London attacker identified as 52-year-old born Adrian Elms in Kent who 'converted to Islam'"

Link: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/khalid-masood-london-terror-attacker-52-kent-west-midlands-westminster-bridge-met-police-a7646321.html

So how exactly would immigration control have prevented this attack? And this shows that your claim that tighter immigration control could have potentially prevented all the major attacks in Europe to be incorrect. Immigration control can't keep out someone who is born in the country.

It's funny how the multi-culties play up the London mayor's "immigrant background," but when people from the same or similar communities blow up the underground or whatever in the name of Allah, suddenly the "immigrant background" factor disappears from the discussion. Hypocritical much?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

why does it matter if he is English born? I dont care where someone was born.

Because so many were going on about immigration control before the identity of the attacker was known. How exactly would immigration control have stopped this attack?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

attackers, meaning in the multiple times this has happened. Victims, as in all the places people have had to die for no reason. And why does it matter if he is English born? I dont care where someone was born. I want to know what groups these people belong to and what the beliefs of those groups are. A person doesnt join a group that they do not agree with, and neither do they join a religion whose doctrine they dont plan to abide by.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

I heard this which I found interesting. Whenever something like this happens, it is amazing to see the diversity of the 'victims' yet there appears to be none among the 'attackers'. I thought that was pretty deep, if you think about it.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

" All of his criminal past was before he became religious "

Nonsense. Investigators identified him a few years back as a "peripheral" figure in the Jihadi movement, and he was known and investigated by Mi5 for "violent extremism."

"Perhaps you should bother to look up exactly what these offences are in the UK."

Yeah, just a regular bloke with anger management issues, eh? LOL. Well, a regular bloke who was on Mi5's radar for his extremist behavior. Yeah, whatever you say.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Perhaps you should bother to look up exactly what these offences are in the UK. They cover a wide spectrum.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

"More violent criminal than jihadist."

Assault, weapons possession and public order offenses. Yep, no way a self-respecting Jihadi would ever engage in those activities, eh? LOL.

donkusai

they've done a great job in responding and have lost one of their own in the process.

Except that they knew the perp, so thats a great job? Yes we can wait and nothing wrong with that but I am simply basing an assumption on past events. Also before you call out "conspiracy theorist" you should check out the number of conspiracy theories that turned out true. But don't worry, the truth telling main stream media has your back.

Next time Britain and the USA decide to pursue foreign policy like a Hollywood script, they should think of the future consequences.... for everyone.

Hollywood? I don't think so. More like The Prine (Machiavelli)

The years 1914-1922 were the creative, formative years when everything seemed possible, but the events of 1922, the pivotal year, set the course for a future of endless wars and acts of terrorism that became the legacy of this period. Issues such as The Allenby Declaration establishing nominal independence for Egypt, the Palestine Mandate and the Churchill White Paper (from which Israel and Jordan sprang), the installing of Hashemite leaders of predominantly Shi'ite teritories, new leaders for Egypt and Iraq, the Russian declaration of a Soviet Union intent on re-establishing her rule over Moslem Central Asia - David Fromkin shows how all these changed the Middle East (and Europe) forever.

David Fromkin A Peaceto End All Peace: Creating the Modern Middle East, 1914-1922

It's wise to know just how far down the roots go if you really want to extract the weed. Chopping the head off the Petrodollar will only allow it to grow back with different stems.

immigration really needs to be stricter on Muslim immigration. its the only way

He was British, born and bred.

@Madverts - Bollocks to those of you turning this into your political and/or anti-Muslim agenda. @Disillusioned - I'm sure you would quickly change this opinion if it was your sister, daughter etc...

Only if you completely ignore the mental stability of those involved, and the fact that more Muslims have died at the hands of these sort of extremists than non-Muslims, and that most of the Muslim world actually stand with us in wanting to get rid of idiot ideologies that have inspired mentally deficient individuals like the one who has commit these crimes...

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Khalid Masood is the name of the attacker sad for the people who lost their lives.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I'm sure you would quickly change this opinion if it was your sister, daughter, mother, brother, son or father killed in this attack.

Hardly. I'm able to differentiate between the actions of a murderous loser and the other members of the sect. It's like saying I should hate all white Christian Americans because Dillan Roof emptied an AR 15 in a black church.

It's pretty heartbreaking reading about the lives of the decent people murdered as the details are slowly released.

Bollocks to those of you turning this into your political and/or anti-Muslim agenda.

They just said on CNN attacks like these have "very little to do with religion". The reporter is trying to talk the person being interviewed into agreeing that this was not ISIS influenced but could be something else? Maybe that's why the attacker has only been identified as "British born". TV now turned off.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

I guess we are just supposed to not care who actually did this, what their name is or where they are from. I have seen no update to the story since I saw a description of a 40s Asian burly guy with a beard. I wonder when we will hear how police have enough evidence to arrest 6 additional people already and what their personal details are. Guess just doesn't matter.

Hope people outside UK don't equate Asian with Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean, Taiwanese, etc.

"MR KHAN", the same Muslim who is on record as calling moderate Muslims "Uncle Toms" and informed Brits that they must simply "accept living with terror".

Blattamexiguus and Jimizo - Shame on you both for accepting this POS as an idol

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

@Blattamexiguus

It's just trash coming from trash. Mr Khan dismissed it with the attention it deserved.

Classy.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

As a Brit and long time Londoner this was unwelcome twittering. “Spoke to UK Prime Minister Theresa May today to offer condolences on the terrorist attack in London,” Trump tweeted. ...After his son had tweeted an attack on London's Muslim Mayor as the story unfolded. Pair of idiots.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

...or, scoobydoo, you could actually WAIT for the details to come out (it only happened yesterday and is still very much ongoing now) before going off on a conspiracy rant. Oh, sorry. Forgot. I guess details are not important to some. Personally, I don't see this incident changing any laws. The police will probably look into their procedures and make adjustments to try to make them more efficient, but that's just my opinion and I'll wait to see what happens. Either way, from what I've read, they've done a great job in responding and have lost one of their own in the process.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

So yet again, they knew they perp, so did they give him the idea to do it also and help him do it like we have seen with the FBI in the US? Is it really terrorism or is everything called that these days? Is it really Islamic based or just another nut job they incited. BUT never worry, they will enforce some new anti terror laws so they can spy on all of you regardless and you'll be safe, until they need to make you fearful again so they can push more laws on you.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

An investigation is under way and divulging details at this time

would be Trumpesque.

Well done, Met. and (new) Commissioner, Cressida Dick, a veteran in this field.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

oh ok that's good. Let me go filter my Facebook pic, post a pray for UK Instagram and tweet using #notallmuslims (trending after the attack) so that this can never happen again.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

I guess we are just supposed to not care who actually did this

No, you just need to be patient. It's not like they are never going to release the info. Why does it have to be released right away?

6 ( +11 / -5 )

What makes people do this do unto others as you would have done unto you an eye for a eye and here as many people hurt done back to his group of terrorists

0 ( +2 / -2 )

too bad the bleeding-heart European politicians are messing around. They are literally sacrificing their own women and children to exhibit their romantic vision of "diversity" and virtue signalling.

Meanwhile, animals like Erdogen are using Turkish immigrants as weapons and warn Europeans will not be safe to walk in their own streets soon.

And he's getting his wish.

-3 ( +10 / -13 )

-1 ( +12 / -13 )

The law enforcement agencies "across the pond" don't mess around do they ? Nice job, guys ! Now, throw the perps in jail and throw away the key !
