Sadly, I was pretty sure it would bring none of those things.

Yes, the pleas from the Libyans to Europe and N. America during the uprising seem to have been more a selfish interest campaign.
And all those Qadaffi weapons gone missing! Just a matter of time when some are used somewhere in Europe.
