California coronavirus death count tops 70,000 as cases fall

Seeing photos of L.A. freeways like the 110, 101 and 605 from March/April 2020 amazes me. I have never seen that few of cars on them in my life even at 3am.

No it will not as booster shots are required for only those at a higher risk.

The case numbers will be down because Natural immunity will be so much higher now that a large percentage of people(vaccinated and unvaccinated) have contracted and recovered from their asymptomatic to mild illness!

Obviously. But in reality, they are fringe cases. Most people who want the vaccine have got both shots now.

Ummm, no. 4.7 million cases in a population of 40 million. That's 12%. Maybe double it (due to asymptomatic cases). That's 24% compared to 70% fully vaccinated. Vaccination is clearly why case numbers are down.

That's incorrect. Fully vaccinated with Pfizer is 2 shots. With J&J it's one shot. This doesn't change.

And the mandates are based on these definitions.

Funny... that misinformation bastion the CDC has it a 1 in 4 actual cases reported so closer to 50% or 18.8million..

so who determines who meets the mandate at 2 shots and who is high risk and really needs 3?

you expect an airport employee or a restaurant host or a guy taking tickets at a movie theater to have some way to know that someone isnt vaccinated anymore because they really needed the 3rd shot to be vaccinated?

Oh and by the way, this mandate for private companies.....
