In Norway, 33 people aged 75 and over died following immunization, according to the agency’s latest figures. All were already seriously ill, it said.

Ref: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-18/norway-finds-no-direct-link-between-elderly-deaths-and-vaccine

So, if you are already really ill and old, there are risks in using a new vaccine. Not exactly new information.

Here there is a state website to sign up for vaccination if you are over 65 yrs old or work in health care. They open up appointments for the following week on Friday for each county at 5pm and by 5:05pm, all the appointments are gone. A few friends have spent hours trying to access the website only to find they are too late. They really need to be more directed towards smaller numbers of individuals. 65+ is much too large a group. 85+, then lower the age to 80+, 75+, 70+, by 5 yrs as the appointments free up. Work down to 45+ - based on the science, people under 45 have a very much lower risk of death. Then add in retail workers and people who are in contact with the public.

Am I reading this article above correctly? All the complications came from 1 location and 1 batch, but not any other locations with the same batch?

And always remember - wear a mask AND stay 2m away from other people. It isn't 1 or the other, it is both.

In Norway already 23 deaths have been attributed to the Pfizer vaccine.

They were apparently all seriously ill elderly people in nursing homes. And to provide added context:

But officials also pointed out that an average of 400 people die every week in nursing and care facilities in Norway, with Madsen adding that the reported deaths made up around 1 in 1,000 of the people vaccinated at care homes.

In other words, your "fact" is nothing more than hysterical nonsense designed to spread fear and mistrust in order to hurt western countries.

The state health department announced Sunday that an L452R variant of the virus is increasingly showing up in genetic sequencing of COVID-19 test samples from several counties.

Our messaging has never been clear that this is a race, not just against spread, but against mutations. The vaccine models enough of the spike protein to make it unlikely that one mutation could produce a completely resistant strain, and mRNA technology can adapt to changes. But reduced vaccine efficacy is possible meanwhile, as are mutations that greatly accelerate the spread.

Our learned helplessness around masks & distancing, encouraged by a self-serving president and his enablers, directly abets this dangerous viral evolution. If the invading enemy were macroscopic and human, we'd call it treason.

Vaccines are less effective in older people. And if you are old and frail, vaccines can be quite dangerous.

Vaccines are safer and more effective in the young and healthy, but those people don't really need one against Covid-19

As usual, cost and benefit are important, for old people the vaccine may represent a higher risk (at this point this has not been found) but also they are at a much higher risk of complications and death from the natural infection. If the disease was difficult to spread this would tilt the balance towards not vaccinating, but we already know this is not the case for COVID-19.

Young and healthy people also have to be hospitalized, get long term/permanent problems and even die from the infection, lowering this risk is a perfectly logical reason to be vaccinated, and if the vaccine also reduce the risk of transmitting the disease to other people as suggested by the evidence from the natural infection that would be an even more powerful argument.

If anyone wants to see some of the vaccine side effects (there are many similar videos out there).

That is mistaken, not everything that happens after taking a vaccine can automatically be considered a "vaccine side effect". For that a causative relationship must be proved.

In comparison, getting a fractured finger while infected of COVID-19 would not be an effect of the infection either, but the agony of not being able to breath even under intubation can be validly be described as an effect of the infection, so is death, something that can happen even to young healthy people that had no preexisting conditions.

Vaccines are safer and more effective in the young and healthy, but those people don't really need one against Covid-19...

Not true. There needs to be herd immunity so the virus doesn't have a pool of bodies in which to spread. That is the only way the contagion can be stopped.

Yeah, riiiiight. When several healthy people suddenly start shaking nonstop after getting a vaccine, that is not normal.

Out of millions? yeah, it is normal, if you follow millions of non-vaccinated people some will have the same problems. There is no need for coincidences, statistically it would be weird that vaccinated people suddenly stopped having every other kind of unrelated problems that the general population does. Vaccinated people still have accidents, undetected conditions, bad luck, faulty genes or terribly daily habits, what is irrational is to expect the vaccine to resolve all of this so nobody vaccinated has any kind of problem ever.

The vaccines are not rushed, they have been tested the same as others that we have used in the public without any problems of safety or efficacy, you keep repeating that mistake but this line is enough to keep proving you wrong.

Even if the vaccine does not visibly injure you, there is certainly something unhealthy about injecting that stuff directly into your body.

No, that is just your imagination, if it were true everybody would die from the natural infection, that introduces a million times more of what is in the vaccine (and two dozens other proteins) and obviously that doesn't happen, that is enough to prove you wrong.

In a way, the Japanese approach of delaying vaccinations is wise.

No, it is not, it is a well know example of overreacting and letting people die because of lack of safe and effective health measures, even Japanese experts have published studies saying so.

Your lack of trust is irrelevant, you have used as a "valid source" that you trust baseless things said by convicted fraudsters, unethical scientists, false experts that regularly lie and mislead or people known to have abandoned science. In a sense if you think those kind of people are somebody to trust then the opposite must be actually a much better option.

All these vaccines are rushed, people are labrats to them.

Vaccination isn't just about the individual. It is about everyone they come into contact. Not everyone can safely be vaccinated, but over 99% of us can. This has been known for a hundred years. Having anyone who should be vaccinated but isn't means there is one more carrier in the world. If they are home-bound, fine. But many people enjoy being in crowds - and other super spreader events.

People under age 45 tend to have much less serious symptoms and exponentially fewer deaths according to the virus statistics. We don't know if COVID causes lifelong issues similar to chickenpox (shingles) or not. Also, we don't know if the vaccines cause lifelong issues or not. What we do know is that people over 45 have a real chance of dying that increases with age and underlying medical conditions.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/investigations-discovery/hospitalization-death-by-age.html has a breakdown by age of COVID hospitalizations and deaths. Death rates increase over 3x for each 10 year grouping. 50-60 yr olds are 3x more likely to die than 40-50 yr olds. 60-70 yr olds are 3x more likely to die than 50-60 yr olds. The actual numbers are a little higher than 3x. Click the link.

Herd immunity will be achieved regardless of vaccination. Vaccines are not needed for herd immunity.

Herd immunity will be achieved regardless of vaccination. Vaccines are not needed for herd immunity.

The point is not that immunity will be achieved, the point is that vaccines makes it much easier to reach it without lots of unnecessary deaths and long lasting/permanent health problems.

For rational people that consider human lives worth saving the vaccines become then a necessity.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

It appears both cause "unnecessary deaths", and you haven't convinced me that vaccines are safer than natural infection.

It appears both cause "unnecessary deaths", and you haven't convinced me that vaccines are safer than natural infection.

No, the only thing that has been demonstrated is that the vaccines are not able to protect people from every kind of cause of death, which is fine because that is not their purpose. And even including this the fatalities are many orders of magnitude lower than what is caused by the natural infection.

People can be willfully irrational, so perfectly valid reasons will never be able to convince them, even if they cannot refute those reasons, therefore a person in that condition not being convinced is not an argument, it is just being in denial. For those interested in being coherent and logic this situation is not relevant.

The data is clear, vaccines are much safer than the natural infection.

Only the west vaccine can be trusted according to the west media, Pfizer has 23 dead in Norway , the west media trying to sweep it under the carpet.

Life are of no important as long as they score political.

Yes!

In a way, the Japanese approach of delaying vaccinations is wise. They get to learn more about the vaccinations, about their safety and their effects on symptoms, mortality, and spread. I don't trust the clinical trials carried out by big pharma; I trust them even less than the US elections. I want to see how well these vaccines work in the real world in the long term.

Yeah, riiiiight. When several healthy people suddenly start shaking nonstop after getting a vaccine, that is not normal.

These are not coincidences. These rushed experimental vaccines do have serious side effects. There are a number of medical agencies worldwide that are reconsidering their vaccination policies.

Even if the vaccine does not visibly injure you, there is certainly something unhealthy about injecting that stuff directly into your body.

I am not so young, but I take care of my health. There is no way I am taking any of these vaccines.
