Though still anecdotes, there are enough of them to think they're credible. Bullying behavior of any sort by the powerful must be countered. Regardless political affiliation. Resign, Cuomo.

But, Trump!

its a pity that people who spoke out about this at the time were labelled as Conspiracy Theorists.
Many lives could have been saved

Let’s avoid the Franken debacle. Al would likely have survived a thorough investigation (although he would have been damaged), but he never got anything like due process.
Let’s give Cuomo his investigation, and in the likely event that he is proven to be what he appears (a groomer and predator of women under his influence), let’s unceremoniously show him the door.
I don’t like it that he’s a bully, but I cannot forgive the attempts to cajole, young women to have sex with him because (and it appears only because) they are young and vulnerable to his pressure.
This is MUCH worse than what Eliot Spitzer did (randy middle age man pays call-girls for sex.... yawn).

Why can't we let an investigation play out without jumping to conclusions? The media is in a frenzy over this. Democrats think they have the moral authority to pursue this. Al Franken was a great member of Congress working for "we, the people" before a "hit job" of sexual harassment forced him to resign.
I think we need specific legal rulings on exactly what constitutes sexual harassment. Let's take it all the way to the Supreme Court and let Brett Kavanaugh write the opinion.

Cuomo is no saint, but this has all the hallmarks of a political hitjob. Cuomo upset quite a few influential and wealthy interests in New York at the height of the pandemic.

I agree. Find truths, find who all must be held accountable for mistakes that resulted in so many deaths in New York and resulted in all the economic damage in that state.
But don't stop at New York. Look throughout the US. Find truths about problems in each state.
And make sure to look at those in charge of the country where 500,000 people died, where millions were sickened, and where the country still suffers because of the federal leader and his appointee's mistakes.

Like with Franken and Spitzer the corporate Dems go into a feeding frenzy eating their own while the Republicans shrug off heavier charges. And then the Dems drop the ball on more direct stimulus payments, minimum wage hikes and reigning in the military industrial complex. If the Dems do not get their priorities straight we all know what is waiting in Mar a Lago for 2022/24.

Get rid of him already. He has done enough damage to the big Apple.

A light way to put it. How about forcing nursing homes to take in Covid patients in the first place? This was news brought to light last summer but people want to conveniently act shocked and concerned this year. Oh and this moron was given an Emmy Award and applauded for it.
Slaybach
I want an investigation about the deaths at the nursing homes. About time people look at shoddy governors like Cuomo. CNN just gave him a free pass. Cuomo is just worse than his father was as governor. I am a registered voter in New York.

It's time for Cuomo to step down. The allegations appear credible, and his refutation was more or less "yeah, I did it, but I didn't think it was bad". Time to go.

He’s pretty much done at this point. He’ll probably resign soon. Stick a fork in this guy. NYC deserves better.

But when can we expect #HimToo? You know, that loser with the looser morals, still the teflon paragon of virtue in the eyes of millions.

There is certainly a lot of truth to this statement.
If the advance is accepted or just welcomed, then there are no problems.
If the advances is not accepted, then what? Is is automatically harassment?
It is a complicated topic, and I don't know all of the facts. However, Cuomo sounds like an idiot rather than a predator.
Not to victimize her, but Liss could have made a formal complaint or at least had a venue to discuss what, upon later reflection, bothered her.
Toasted Heretic
He should step down. His postition has become untenable.
Harassment is not something that should be acceptable. Ever.
Less calls for violence, please.

Is it possible that it's (in part) a cultural thing? Having known quite a few Italian-Americans where I grew up, they do tend to hug a lot, speak very frankly and personally and are also, for the most part, fun loving. Too much of this may rub a lot of people the wrong way, but I felt that the Italian-Americans tended to be more personal (not in a negative way) than my friends of other ethnic groups. I haven't heard of any of the victims being violently assaulted or raped, just very uncomfortable by Cuomo's attention, some of which was done openly (not in private) in front of others. Of course, in Gov. Cuomo's case you'd have to add that he had very poor social skills in how to talk with the opposite sex, as in the case which he sounded like he was hitting on Ms. Bennett.

This "sausage" joke that the mainstream media play up is just a distraction. His real crime is sending Corona patients to nursing homes, lying about it, and then blaming Trump for the thousands of deaths he himself cause. In a sane world, he would go to prison.
bass4funk
Yes. exactly and absolutely disgusting!
Toasted Heretic
This is not a sane world.
Trump, a twice impeached criminal, self-confessed sex offender, serial liar and mass murderer walks free.
bass4funk
Twice acquitted, don’t forget that.
Between to consenting adults, how?
Serial liar, welcome to Washington and if Trump WERE a murderer of the sort he would have been arrested a long time ago, that never happened, not once.

We know you are obsessed with hating Trump. But this article is not about Trump and your imaginary Trump crimes, it is about Cuomo. And Cuomos handling of the nursing home situation and lying about is out in the open now, after being suppressed by the media for months.
Cuomo is responsible for thousands of deaths that could have been avoided, by not sending Coronia patients to nursing homes. What is your opinion about that?
Toasted Heretic
Enough of these blatant fibs.
You've called for people to stick a fork in him, several times.
Ah, the signal.
You should address that to a liberal, then. But I'd rather be woke than a joke.
