Repubs giving the country more evidence that they've been neutered and de-spined...

They don't even have the guts to face their voters and defend their positions...

Just another Repub "cancel-culture" example...

Maybe they're afraid they'll say something, and a tape will come out the next day showing what liars they are...

No, they’re tried of having these debates hosted by liberal moderators asking gotcha questions to tie them up or embarrass them and won’t give them enough time to respond. The Republicans don’t need that and the people are not dumb, they can decide for themselves who they like in a candidate, each candidate should go and explain themselves what their policies are and people can decide, we don’t need a moderator to ask gotcha questions to conservatives and give liberals a free pass always

Just another Repub "cancel-culture" example...

Good, long overdue.

Maybe they're afraid they'll say something, and a tape will come out the next day showing what liars they are...

Well, the left can name call all they want. I’m just happy that the Republicans don’t need to participate in that kind of lunacy and they can do their own debates, and then the Democrats can do their own and each prospective voter can watch what they like in this person and then decide, you don’t need a moderator for that.

And on Tuesday, Herschel Walker is expected to miss a second debate against his Republican rivals for a crucial U.S. Senate seat after skipping the first one.

He is ahead by 56 points, no one else has more than 6%. He is a football legend in that state and is endorsed by Trump. He has no “Republican rivals”.

Ted Budd has skipped four Republican primary debates in his bid for a U.S. Senate seat in North Carolina

endorsed by Trump, Also ahead by at least 10 points.

Good, no person should participate in their own lynching.

No, they’re tried of having these debates hosted by liberal moderators asking gotcha questions

Please define what a “gotcha” question is, and provide an example. I think what you mean is a question that an unqualified candidate with a lack of integrity cannot answer.

As for “liberal moderators”, we are talking here about Republican primaries. The GOP can pick Tucker Carlson if they want.

The Republican Party has been so infested with extremists, nut jobs, attention-seekers, and moronic celebrities, it’s no wonder debates are not their preferred way to sell their message. Dialogue is not possible with these people, only rallies, commercials, and tweets.

I think what you mean is a question that an unqualified candidate with a lack of integrity cannot answer.

Hmmm…and then that candidate is not to fully respond as opposed to the liberal challenger that can make their case.

As for “liberal moderators”, we are talking here about Republican primaries. The GOP can pick Tucker Carlson if they want.

They just might within their own personal format. But following the Dems and having them moderate it, those days are over.

The Republican Party has been so infested with extremists, nut jobs, attention-seekers, and moronic celebrities,

As with the Democrat party.

Again, we don’t need them and good on Ronna for ending them.

Most candidates (but specially the current GOP crop) would have been eliminated from the secondary school debates I participated in.

Strawmen, non sequitur and ad hominem are their stock in trade.

No wonder they want to give up on debating.

It's come a long way from the Lincoln-Douglas debates.

Ok, but the right is not allowed to respond like the time the moderator hit Newt Gingrich about his speech extra-marital affairs it had absolutely nothing to do with politics.

No wonder they want to give up on debating.

If it’s bias then why should they. They can do their own debates just fine.

It's come a long way from the Lincoln-Douglas debates.

Not for the better either.

They don't even have the guts to face their voters and defend their positions...

No, they’re tried of having these debates hosted by liberal moderators asking gotcha questions

Sure, "gotcha" questions like; Did you ever say that you would recommend President Trump resign"?

That one was a sure gotcha....LOL....

to tie them up or embarrass them and won’t give them enough time to respond.

Oh they don't need the moderator to embarrass themselves...they do that on their own very nicely...maybe they'll discuss hand size again or who helped assassinate JFK.......LOL...

Just another Repub "cancel-culture" example...

Good, long overdue.

Good, glad you're a cancel culture warrior... First admitting Trump was guilty and would get fined, now supporting cancel culture... The lightbulb is coming on....

Maybe they're afraid they'll say something, and a tape will come out the next day showing what liars they are...

Well, the left can name call all they want.

You just admitted you're a leftist - agreeing the other day that McCarthy was a "spineless worm"...

Losing....

Yeah, but the right do that more.

Ok, but the right is not allowed to respond like the time the moderator hit Newt Gingrich about his speech extra-marital affairs it had absolutely nothing to do with politics.

Yeah, but the left aren’t allowed much more.

Asking Gingrich about him having an affair and not being allowed to respond back a shady to say the least. Why won’t the moderators pick Carlson or Hannity? See, that’s something the left doesn’t want because they would be worried about the questions they would be asking.

Oh they don't need the moderator

They do not.

Good, glad you're a cancel culture warrior...

No, I’m for fairness and the Dems are not fair, but it’s over now so no more debates. Good

First admitting Trump was guilty

I never did

You just admitted you're a leftist

Not even close, nice try. Lol

Yeah, but the right do that more.

Well, they don’t and that’s why they started the cancel anyone that disagrees with their other one-sided political point of view.

Yeah, but the left aren’t allowed much more.

Because they don’t get hit with gotcha questions.

And?

And that’s why McDaniel called BS on these debates. Anyway, I’m happy. The Dems should do their debates and the conservatives should do theirs and the people can watch the candidates they like and vote appropriately. It’s a win, win for both sides

Well, that’s why Dems are getting more and more support everyday and people are leaving Florida and Texas to live in free societies like New York and California.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Well, that’s why Dems are getting more and more support everyday

Support? It’s not helping them. Not one poll is favoring Democrats or them keeping the House, none of them. Even the NYT threw in the towel.

and people are leaving Florida and Texas to live in free societies like New York and California.

Yeah, in a unicorns fantasy dream world, could be. ROFL!

Nice try lol!

Yeah, I don’t think after November liberals will continue to say that. ;)

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Yeah, I don’t think after November liberals will continue to say that. ;)

Yeah, but Republicans can’t say that now.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Yeah, but Republicans can’t say that now.

Oh, yes they can. Show me 2 or 3 polls where it says the Dems are up for keeping the House and their chances are good. Take your time.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Oh, yes they can.

And?

Show me 2 or 3 polls where it says the Dems are up for keeping the House and their chances are good. Take your time.

Republicans wish they had polls like that. That’s why they are jumping ship and moving to live free in New York and California.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

And?

And that means, they GOP are free of all the backstabbing and gutter snippet attacks from the bias moderators, .

Republicans wish they had polls like that.

Can you show the Dems leading or not, if you can’t then it’s ok. Let reality sink that the Dems are on their way out. Get the champagne ready and chilled.

That’s why they are jumping ship and moving to live free in New York and California.

Ok, more unicornverse logic. Lol

David Perdue - endorsed by Trump DOWN 28 points to Trump enemy Brian Kemp...

Was David Perdue in this article?

His campaign has not granted The Associated Press an interview despite repeated requests, including for this story.

this is the reason for the hit job article. AP is mad they can’t make him answer their gotcha questions.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Herschel Walker has 66%, the second place guy has 7%. I guess you could have a debate, but no one would watch.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Former President Trump stumped on Sunday for Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles Herbster, who has been accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct.

This person oddly was not mentioned in the article either.

so I’m not sure how you feel this is a relevant response to my comments about Walker and Budd, who are mentioned.
