Call me crazy, but I don't think any US troops would have been killed in Niger if they weren't there to begin with.

Hey, call me crazy again, but I think the US should have a law that all people elected to office and their staff should be more mature than the average 14 year old.

A normal person accused of bungling a condolence call would have taken into account the feelings of the bereaved, apologized, and moved on. Instead, we've got this mess - a real tempest in a teacup were it not for the fact that the same tone-deafness and inability to take responsibility has reoccurred with alarming regularity over the short course of Trump's presidency.

It's almost enough to make one think Trump is purposely drawing attention away from the Niger incident itself. Perhaps he is, and perhaps some will fall for it. Will Kelly? - what a shameful way that would be to end an admirable career.

15 ( +16 / -1 )

Benghazi all over again?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

I'm getting tired of all this Trump Bashing... hasn't the News service got anything better to do... what happens after Trump goes... they'll then find themselves having to relearn Journalism.

-19 ( +6 / -25 )

This person had no business discussing the contents of a condolence phone call to the widow of a man who lost his life for our country.

Simply trying to politicize something that is sacred in order to increase her own political profile and try to bash Trump.

The term used to describe her is in no way ever had a racist context. Everything liberals don’t like now days is just called racist.

-19 ( +7 / -26 )

Oh and why are forces in Niger? Because Barack Obama sent them there. Once that it wasn’t Trump’s fault they are there CNN felt free to write an article supporting fand defending forces being there.

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/10/18/politics/niger-american-troops-drones/index.html

so from now of course the narrative will be “why didn’t Trump remove them!!??” Not who put then there in the first place.

-12 ( +5 / -17 )

Parroting the lie that troops in over a hundred countries are losing their lives for "our" country shows a lack of depth of thought.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Blacklabel: "so from now of course the narrative will be “why didn’t Trump remove them!!??” Not who put then there in the first place."

Ah, the hypocrisy! from a guy who blames Obama for Afghanistan and Iraq (some of the GOP supporters have even said he actually STARTED the wars, so bereft of the facts they are).

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Obama didn’t start Iraq or Afghanistan but he also didn’t do anything to successfully resolve those in 8 years.

this call is just a distraction so the MSM can say they don’t have time to cover the Clinton Russia collusion/corruption/bribery.

Obama sent those guys there for “our country” to fight “terrorism”. So if he didn’t give his life for our country then Obama lied when he sent our forces there.

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Ah, the hypocrisy! from a guy who blames Obama for Afghanistan and Iraq (some of the GOP supporters have even said he actually STARTED the wars, so bereft of the facts they are).

Trump even brings up Obama's name when he lied about how better he was because he writes and calls the fallen soldier's family.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

Trump in the White House.

US soap opera.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

That woman is a lot more than an empty barrel! She is helping Trump win another election.

-10 ( +5 / -15 )

so from now of course the narrative will be “why didn’t Trump remove them!!??” Not who put then there in the first place. same can be said of Obama, with all the people saying he should have pulled the troops out of Iraq / Afghanistan when it was Bush who put them there in the first place. Once you make a place an unstable poo hole removing troops prematurely without trying to clean up the mess will just make the hole even deeper.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

This person had no business discussing the contents of a condolence phone call to the widow of a man who lost his life for our country. The soldier's widow and aunt said no, it was the president who was fibbing., so we are to believe the widow/aunt is lying and Trump is telling the truth. LOL

8 ( +10 / -2 )

She had no business politicizing and publicizing that phone call which was not to her, regardless of content.

Of course anything said by someone you already don’t like will be insufficient in such a tragic situation.

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

But don’t you just LOVE her HAT that she seems to be wearing in ALL her pictures?

Right up there with Coorene Brown ( Convicted Felon ).

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Frederica Wilson hates Trump, profoundly and passionately. She always has and undoubtedly, always will. Her outrage at what Trump said is a case of confirmational bias in overdrive. No matter what he said she would find a way to cry foul.

The line about how your loved one died doing something that they chose to do, something that they knew was dangerous, possibly fatal, but did it anyway, is a theme that is heard a lot in circumstances like this. There is usually some talk about duty and love of country. That's pretty much what Trump said.

Wilson wanted to be offended and perceived an offence where none was warranted. I've attended enough memorials and read enough letters from commanding officers to feel that nothing Trump said (no matter how awkwardly) was out of the ordinary or offensive.

Personally, I feel Wilson has set a new low when it comes to capitalizing on someone else's misfortune for personal and political gain. When she said “You mean to tell me that I’ve become so important that the White House is following me and my words? This is amazing. That’s amazing. I’ll have to tell my kids that I’m a rockstar now.” she just about said it all.

-13 ( +3 / -16 )

It takes a special breed of monsters to lie about a bungled condolence call, and then, rather than apologize, lie about the people who brought the bungled call to light.

Kelly's thrown away his reputation; Sanders's reputation for imbecility is intact; and their lying thug of an overlord daily enhances his as by far the worst president the United States is likely ever to have.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

She had no business politicizing and publicizing that phone call which was not to her, regardless of content.

She didn't say a word till Donny accused the widow of lying. Talking about politicizing a phone call, good grief.

And, I'll also add: She was invited to sit in on that call. It was very much "her business."

Why does Donny lie so much? Is it a flaw or feature?

14 ( +15 / -1 )

weren't four killed in Niger? does that mean there is the existence of three other phone calls. this is so thrilling, what will come next?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"Trump, in an interview with Fox Business Network, then called Wilson's criticism of Kelly "sickening.""

Well, then, perhaps Trump shouldn't have dragged the man and his dead son into an argument he completely brought on himself. Now Kelly's credibility has taken a huge hit as it's been proven that the things he has said, too, are lies, and they've all had to fall back on the "You can't question a general because he's a general! (but you can question former presidents and everyone else in the military if it's a Republican asking)". Indisputable evidence that Trump did in fact say, "He had to know what he was getting into" have come out, and now it's just "deflect, deflect, deflect, attack, attack, attack".

What's sickening is that Trump started all of this because he was dodging questions about the troops in Niger, was caught in the lie, so denied and deflected.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Donald Trump never apologizes so we don't expect him to do so in this situation. Kelly might have apologized if he had caught in a small error of fact. But that's not what has happened here. He has been caught in a massive lie. Kelly invented an entirely false scenario with richly embroidered details, all of it false. It was slanderous and it was intentional. How fortunate that video of the event is available to expose him. There will be no apology from him. He showed us who he is and now he'll retreat into a dignified silence out of 'respect' for our fallen heroes.

Inappropriate to question a general?

Vietnam.

Ask your dad.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Benghazi all over again?

Yeah, good luck with that, the Dems think they have something with this, trying to draw comparisons where the head of Benghazi embassy was denied extra security when he requested it, compared to 4 men that were part of a bigger classified mission, let's see how the Dems try to spin this. LOL

She didn't say a word till Donny accused the widow of lying.

No, she was the one that rolled the ball, accused the president of being cold and insensitive and this women couldn't even spell the deceased woman's wife's last name. By the way, why on Earth would she even be listening to a grieving woman's conversation?

Talking about politicizing a phone call, good grief.

Then she should have kept her big mouth shut.

And, I'll also add: She was invited to sit in on that call. It was very much "her business."

That's disputable, I heard different, so I don't know either way.

Why does Donny lie so much? Is it a flaw or feature?

What a minute, this woman was on the impeachment Trump team and was outspoken against Trump during the campaign, I just find it odd and strange, this really stink like someone with a personal agenda. So now that we know this woman has a history of being a bomb thrower, we can all see what this woman is all about and that's her own selfish political colorful career.

Oh, please! We don't the exact conversation, Gen. Kelly gave a detailed outline of what the president said and how the president consulted with him as how or which is the best way to comfort a person who lost a loved one and Kelly explained to him, now how it was said or how she perceived it is a different matter, we don't know, but having lost his own son and a Gold star parent took this nuts outrageous comments seriously. Whether you like Trump or not and if you know anything about Kelly or Mattis for that matter aren't men that blind loyalists and filled up with fear to say anything because of possible repercussions. But let's speak the truth, it doesn't matter what the president said, she was a grieving woman and it doesn't matter what you say, if that woman was inconsolable as many people are in these situations how do we know what the woman's state of mind was? But it's true, these men and women knew what they signed up for. Even as a journalist when we sign up for overseas correspondence in war torn countries, we know the risks and if we don't want to take the risks, then don't sign up. If you are a soldier or you have to go as a news correspondence you know the risks. Now, I do think they should do a deeper investigation because obviously there were mistakes made, but this nutty woman trying to take political shots is disgusting!

What's sickening is that Trump started all of this because he was dodging questions about the troops in Niger, was caught in the lie, so denied and deflected.

Yes, he should, especially if it was a classified mission. There are hundreds of missions going on with special forces all the time, missions that we don't or need to know about, but that our men and women are doing dangerous work for our country and the world.

Why does Donny lie so much? Is it a flaw or feature?

People with no talent, drive, or intelligence have nothing else in their tool kit.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Frederica Wilson - Here is a perfect example of how hopeless the Democrats are. A complete nutjob. Intellectual lightweight. Inexplicably wears cowboy hats. Was actually giddy that her name got exposure, even though it was during a ceremony of repatriating a soldier's remains.

When called out on her lack of intelligence, went straight to the race card even though race was not even an equation in this matter.

Utter morons like this got Trump elected.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

Congresswoman Wilson noted that Mr. Kelly grew up in a segregated part of Boston - no surprise given his age - and, ipso facto, is a racist. Most Americans of his age grew up in segregated neighborhoods so, using her logic, they all are racists, white and black. Probably so to some degree. Thank you Congresswoman Wilson for selflessly contributing to the situation.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

By the way, why on Earth would she even be listening to a grieving woman's conversation?

Because she was asked to. Oh my god, how horrible. If you didn't know, the "clown in the cowboy hat" ran an after school program for at risk youths. La David Johnson was a graduate of that program.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/florida-politics-blog/fl-reg-frederica-wilson-five-things-20171020-story.html

Then she should have kept her big mouth shut

Or maybe Donny should just quit lying, howbowday? Why does Donny get yet another pass for lying yet again? Here I was thinking the GOP cared about vets. Guess not.

That's disputable, I heard different, so I don't know either way.

Then let's see it. Any link? What did you hear?

What a minute

None of that makes Donny any less of liar.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

What do you mean she didn’t say anything until after Trump supposedly lied? Well you would think that because this article starts in the middle.

the President called the widow and no sooner than the call was over this Congresswoman was on Twitter complaining about the content of the call.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Doesnt matter who this congress person is and if she was invited to listen or not. This was not meant for her and she was not meant to be listening.

To publicize this death for political and personal reasons and claim racism and white supremacy when there is none simply hurts that person and their politics.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

A complete nutjob. Intellectual lightweight. Inexplicably wears cowboy hats.

Right. And Trump has settled on a moniker for her: "wacky." If meaning "unconventional," it might be a compliment, but Trump undoubtedly meant it to be just another in his unending line of juvenile insults.

Anyone outside of Florida had probably never heard of Wilson, but she's apparently quite well-known there for the type of community organizing that Trump and his ilk belittle (they cannot comprehend selfless effort) but that creates lasting difference.

Wilson apparently has been a life-long educator with a sharp carrot-stick approach: she founded an organization to foster responsible living among the youth in her area (the 5000 Role Models program), and she is tenacious when pursuing racial injustice, particularly among youth. She's been a long-time friend of the parents of Sgt. La David Johnson, and La David himself greatly benefited from her help while he was growing up. Wilson's long friendship with the family explains her presence in the car when Trump called (I'm surprised appointments are not made for calls like these).

Trump and his ilk can hurl insults as they'd like, but it is the untiring work of people like Rep. Wilson that makes America. Trump's ad hominem attacks are growing tiresome, and this one will likely come back to bite him - and why? Over nothing more than his inability to display simple humility.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

but it is the untiring work of people like Rep. Wilson that makes America.

I didn’t know dealing the race card at every opportunity constituted “work”

I only had to listen to this nutjob speak for 10 seconds to know she was as crazy as her appearance

“wacky “ is being polite

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Because she was asked to.

Funny, most of the news say, the conversation was private, so once again, the libs jump with opportunistic glee to feed their abysmal hunger. This woman is so deranged, not to mention wearing those silly colorful hats that are a complete eyesore.

.

Or maybe Donny should just quit lying, howbowday? Why does Donny get yet another pass for lying yet again? Here I was thinking the GOP cared about vets. Guess not.

If anyone lied it was Wilson, she said, the other day that she’s a rock star. Typical, trying to further her political agenda. Oh, I’m not surprised.

https://thefederalist.com/2017/10/20/congresswoman-responds-john-kelly-im-rock-star-now/

Democratic congresswoman for politicizing a private conversation between Donald Trump and a grieving widow of a fallen Gold Star veteran, she’s decided to double down on her selfish behavior

Then let's see it. Any link? What did you hear?

Don't know about you, but I learned as a child when people have a “private conversation” it usually means, it’s not for your ear.

None of that makes Donny any less of liar.

The same goes for the dishonest media and looney libs as Gen. Kelly so rightly pointed out.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Funny, most of the news say, the conversation was private, so once again, the libs jump with opportunistic glee to feed their abysmal hunger. This woman is so deranged, not to mention wearing those silly colorful hats that are a complete eyesore.

Who says it was private? Did anyone sign a non-disclosure agreement? Still choosing to overlook yet another lie from Don the Con.

If anyone lied it was Wilson, she said, the other day that she’s a rock star. Typical, trying to further her political agenda. Oh, I’m not surprised.

lolol What? She said she's a rockstar? Cool story, bro.

Don't know about you, but I learned as a child when people have a “private conversation” it usually means, it’s not for your ear.

Don't know about you, but I learned as a child when people have a "private conversation," we probably shouldn't talk about it online, yeah? FYI, people I know say you are a member of the KKK, but its none of your business. It was a private conversation.

The same goes for the dishonest media and looney libs as Gen. Kelly so rightly pointed out.

Donny quite clearly lied. As did Kelly. Have fun blaming the "dishonest media," but again it does not, in any way, make Donny more honest.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Right. And Trump has settled on a moniker for her: "wacky." If meaning "unconventional," it might be a compliment, but Trump undoubtedly meant it to be just another in his unending line of juvenile insults.

The woman is a “whack job” I didn’t see where Trump Lied on that one.

Anyone outside of Florida had probably never heard of Wilson.

Yeah, I wonder why.....

Trump and his ilk can hurl insults as they'd like, but it is the untiring work of people like Rep. Wilson that makes America.

By politicizing issues? Seems very much familiar like Chicago push in your face thuggery politics. People like her Emanuel, Jackson, Sharpton, Wiener and all the rest of these loons are the reason why politics have become the new national blood sport of our era.

Trump's ad hominem attacks are growing tiresome, and this one will likely come back to bite him - and why? Over nothing more than his inability to display simple humility.

At this point, I hope he ratchetes it up, if the left and the their puppy media stooges want a drag down fight, I hope Trump hits them as hard back as he can. These people are ridiculous and it’s no wonder they can’t get elected to anything!

Who says it was private? Did anyone sign a non-disclosure agreement? Still choosing to overlook yet another lie from Don the Con.

You just asked me to send you something, it was from the Federalist and now once again, you reject it because it doesn’t suit your narrative. Do me a favor, please don’t ask me for sources or links or anything to prove a point you don’t agree with because it wouldn’t matter. Libs only will accept what libs deem as credible irregardless of the facts. So you can believe that narrative and I’ll believe the other sources.

lolol What? She said she's a rockstar? Cool story, bro

Hey! Those words didn’t come flapping from MY lips, but nice try.

https://youtu.be/aq1qZxzoc60

FYI, people I know say you are a member of the KKK, but its none of your business. It was a private conversation.

What? Dear lord.....

Donny quite clearly lied. As did Kelly.

Wow! The more the left carry on like this, the more I am happy that the country sees how unhinged these people are and why they shouldn’t be given the keys to be in office, let alone sit in the front seat.

Question, how did Kelly lie? No one in that press room even dared to challenge him, not even that scoundrel O’Donnel. There was only one other Gold Star person in that room, a Marine and the rest sat there like little kids in that room. The man has over 50 years of experience in the military and regardless of Trump or anyone else, he never at his age especially been known to tow the political line, but nice job and I’m so eager to see how the left continue to eat crow on this one.

Have fun blaming the "dishonest media," but again it does not, in any way, make Donny more honest.

Yeah, keep trying. By the way, do the Dems have anything to offer besides crying all day? 2018 is around the corner and instead of possible policies, I just keep hearing impeach Trump and Russia, if that’s the policy that will be put forth by the Democrats, that wilderness will be entertaining them for a very, very long time.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

@bass

I didn’t see where Trump Lied on that one.

Trump said that he “called every family of somebody that’s died”. According to the Washington Post (your employer), about half of the 13 families interviewed had not heard from the president. That is substantially less than "every". Somebody is lying. It's either:

The Wapo

The families

Trump

Which of the three do you think is not telling the truth?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

bass4funk: "No, she was the one that rolled the ball, accused the president of being cold and insensitive and this women couldn't even spell the deceased woman's wife's last name."

And Trump didn't know the names. Period. Hell, it took him half the year to learn Kim Jung Un's name instead of calling him "the gentleman (he'd like to meet)". "Your guy" is not a name. So, what was your point on the names, exactly?

Trump has flat out lied here, again, and you guys can't even deny he lied anymore, you've just resorted to, "I think it was clear he meant...".

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Trump said that he “called every family of somebody that’s died”. According to the Washington Post (your employer),

"Former" back when they were somewhat more honest...

about half of the 13 families interviewed had not heard from the president.*

Not every president calls every and all families whether it was Bush, Obama or Clinton, but they write letters, Kelly himself said, he did not get a call from Obama and he wasn't mad about it, he understands, it's impossible for every president to call every fallen soldier, but at least they write.

Which of the three do you think is not telling the truth?

The first one.

And Trump didn't know the names. Period.

Which is not a crime, heck, Obama didn't know how to pronounce Marine Corps. He said, "corpse"

It happens.

Hell, it took him half the year to learn Kim Jung Un's name instead of calling him "the gentleman (he'd like to meet)". "Your guy" is not a name. So, what was your point on the names, exactly?

Hmmm, so what's your point, that he didn't give Kim the respect he most definitely doesn't deserve?

Trump has flat out lied here, again, and you guys can't even deny he lied anymore, you've just resorted to, "I think it was clear he meant...".

No, you said, he lied, I don't think he lied because there are people that said, Trump never made those statements and EVEN if he did, he wasn't lying IF he said to the grieving widow that he knew the price, yup, seems right to me and if you think differently, you can't marry an active duty military soldier because every time they are called upon to do a mission, that might be the last time you will see that love one and if anyone thinks that that's not a possibility, some one really lied to you.

Pretty obvious isn't it? If, in an attempt to discredit someone (and reflect credit on yourself), you claim that they said certain things, and the words you attribute to them are fabricated, then it's a lie and you're a liar.

Well, then Wilson should shut her mouth and I thought Al Sharpton was an idiot of the highest order.

As you see, there are two self-serving components to the lie: discrediting Wilson, and reflecting credit on Kelly, for supposedly being appalled by her words but too polite to complain or mention it to the press.

Ok, so you believe that, the woman discredit herself once she opened her mouth and decided to fabricate and lie on a General and good on Kelly for slamming her and she is an empty barrel that just wants to politicize the issue for her own political benefit. Again, these people using their thuggery to score brownie points to undermine a decent man like Kelly. Again, when he laid out for the vampiric press how and what happens when a soldier dies, the room was so silent you could hear a pin drop. It's easy loons like Wilson to take shots and to exploit a woman's tragedy because and the Black Caucus goal is to remove Trump from office, even if that means exploit the victims, the left is completely devoid of shame.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Of course anything said by someone you already don’t like will be insufficient in such a tragic situation. especially if whats said is disrespectful to the soldier who died defending Amercias freedom

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Of course anything said by someone you already don’t like will be insufficient in such a tragic situation. especially if whats said is disrespectful to the soldier who died defending Amercias freedom,

But we don't know if he said something hurtful, we have the word of a woman that has a history of inflammatory speech and that has been on the impeachment Trump team, go figure. All I'm saying is, the left is jumping feet first and blindly just believing this woman without a shred of evidence and because Wilson said it happened, then it's a fact, take Trump out of the conversation for a moment, Gen. Kelly says, it didn't happen like that, a man that has ZERO history of lying about anything, literally a perfect and clean record, non-political and all of a sudden, he's flat out lying? People need to take a deep breath and really look at the situation very deeply. Again, take Trump out of it and look at Wilson who doesn't know anything about the process of what happens to a fallen soldier and a General that has lived it, seen war, buried and sent men that died on his orders, a man with over 50 years of military service and gold star parent and explained to Trump how it's done and how to talk to the families. Again, taking Trump out of the picture and seeing watching the other two, I'll tell you what, I don't think for a second Kelly is the wacko in this argument.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Well, then Wilson should shut her mouth and I thought Al Sharpton was an idiot of the highest order.

What does Sharpton have to do with this?

Oh, right . . .

4 ( +5 / -1 )

American troops should not be allowed to set foot in countries which they or the majority of US citizens can't find on a map.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Four dead US soldiers? Confused story. BENGHHAAAAAAAZIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, right.

No honor. No shame.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Oh wacky Wilson now thrilled from all the recent attention. Should be focusing on her own district in Florida.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Assails? Verbally assails, maybe!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Let her enjoy her 15 min in the spotlight. That’s about all the publicity that liberals will get. That and Anthony Wiener. Lol

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

50 years of military service and gold star parent and explained to Trump how it's done and how to talk to the families.  since when has Trumped listen to anybody on how he should speak to anybody! its his way or the highway, the guy never admits hes wrong and can never let anything bad said about him slide, its just not in his egotistical psyche.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

since when has Trumped listen to anybody on how he should speak to anybody! its his way or the highway,

He does have a history of listening to people with authority and loves the military and strong leaders, so there's your answer right there.

the guy never admits hes wrong and can never let anything bad said about him slide, its just not in his egotistical psyche.

Hey, that's like the Democrats and the media, they NEVER, EVER say when they are wrong and Hillary is the worst offender, she has to write about titled "What happened?" Seriously??? The left have serious problems with admitting to anything.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

He does have a history of listening to people with authority and loves the military and strong leaders

Including these?

“I was never a fan of Colin Powell after his weak understanding of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq = disaster. We can do much better!” (Sep 15, 2016)

“General John Allen, who I never met but spoke against me last night, failed badly in his fight against ISIS. His record = BAD #NeverHillary” (Jul 29, 2016)

“How can General Martin Dempsey tell Obama that delaying the Syria bombardment will have no consequences? He is no Patton or MacArthur.” (Sep 4, 2013)

“We don't have the leadership, including the Generals (who just said the element of surprise does not matter) to attack anyone! Cool it.” (Sep 6, 2013)

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I can't stand Hillary Clinton. But if a friend of mine got a call from her if she were President, and the call didn't go well. I wouldn't talk about it with the media. There are some things you don't do. The fact that Wilson doesn't know that, and many here don't understand that is just more sad evidence of where society is going.

It's very easy to think that Wilson was just waiting for this. No President would deliberately offend the family member on the day of the funeral.

It's just not right, actually it's despicable to do what the Hat Lady did. Hence, John Kelly's speech which should be listened to by all Americans.

The fact that Frederica claimed to be grieving with the widow, then next is laughing and boasting about being a rock star shows her to be not only an empty barrel but a really odious political hack.

Just pathetic.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

He does have a history of listening to people with authority and loves the military and strong leaders, so there's your answer right there. thats more of an assumption than an answer, history has shown Trump to be the opposite and resist anybody that doesn't agree with his ideas.
