China makes its own rules. It does not care what rules others use for trade. The CCP is all about having total control over everything and everyone. The US either does business with China on Chinese rules or it does not trade with China. If China agrees to US or World rules, you can bet it is a front only, and that behind the scenes in China it is breaking those rules and using it's own instead.

China is not to be trusted while under the control of the CCP.

They should be talking with Taiwan, the real leader of China.

In other words: 'See my interests? Lots and lots of them? Over here? And over there? And all around you? Our new PLA bases on all of the new artifical islands created in the seas all around you? Good! Then you will see my military! But don't worry about their grossly provocative and threatening actions to you and your neighbors, though: they are mostly "peaceful." They are only "promot[ing] the building of a human community with a shared future" by practicing my improved "military theory of Marxism" on behalf of the Party.
