Wow. Just watched it.

Memes are already popping up, due to how well its 120 bpm matches up with other songs:

A rare example of real artistic genius demonstrated through the music video format. It's a pity the article analyzes it so superficially.

Calling "This is America" "a raw take on racism, gun violence and consumer society" is about as in-depth as saying that The Handmaid's Tale is a serious show about women who have problems with men, not exactly incorrect, but only scratching the surface of the multiple layers of savagely critical theses contained within.

Though I do love the delicious irony of this article praising this particular video for its hits and therefore its implicit commercial success instead of analyzing what it has to say in depth.

It's a pity the article analyzes it so superficially.

What do you expect as most readers of this medium aren't endorsing this kinda music. Rather the opposite I would say :)
