CCP Chinese Communist Party should talk to Japanese leaders the masters of denial.

I am tired to see both China and Japan bashin in Western press. Western leaders aren't better and many Westerns like me know it. This problem shouldn't be used to manipulate public opinion how some Western press is doing against China.

Well, at least we can throw our crappy leaders out at the ballot box, the good people of China don’t have that right.

I have no problems bashing the CCP or the LDP ( that’s what politicians are partly there for ), but bashing the people of these countries is a different matter.

Not asking international agencies like the WHO ( world health organisation ) into the country is such an isolized worldview not worth of a silkroad attempt.

Position, privilege and permanency. China, a prime example of everything that can go wrong with the maladministration of state.

Career politicians with no more skin in the game than their job and the next wrung on the ladder have no problem with presiding over a festering mess, as long as it stays in its place and they're able to float to the top. Of course when finally latching onto the golden gong spread enough love, in the right direction, to ensure tenure.

Well isn't that just so, so familiar. It's as if civilization has amnesia. We've all, or as it would seem, most of us have learnt in our schooling about failed dynasties lost cultures.

This is how some of them have disappeared into history.

A pandemic bred in an environment where it was fostered, then spread as if it wasn't even there until it's too late for the majority of people who are exposed. Not good enough!

@Jimizo The notion that people have a “choice” is nothing more than an illusion created by the establishment . You can throw any leader out as you wish, but in the end nothing will be changed, the ruling class will always be the same. Leader of the country is merely a token, the elites will always have a say in policy no matter who is in charge.

In China's case, own goals. The CCP is in control of everything, including information, they can't blame media, any media if and when things go pear shape.

IMHO, this is nothing yet. There is an entire generation of young Chinese so brainwashed they are outraged by someone calling Taiwan a country, yet blissfully go about their day with a million Uyghurs locked up in camps.

In time, they will either have no humanity, or be very angry humanity has been stolen from them.

Me thinkest time's up for the CCP.

In an ideal World the CCP would disappear soon after this virus is brought under control.

However, we don't live in an Ideal World.

Unfortunately , with the enormous Military on side, thats not going to happen. The best that could - and should - happen, is the outsing of King Xi by the Politburo. The handling of this crisis has been appalling . The failure to shut down dangerous live animal markets led to this virus. Attempting to silence good doctors warning early on of the virus. Further, absolutely none of the figures released by the CCP can be trusted. We may never know the truth.

Until there is a democratic revolution destroying the CCP and eliminating all the leaders, the establishment of transparency and freedom of information and protection of human rights by a legal system, I cannot see anything good for the future of Chinese people. Their economy is decelerating and Trump achieved victory in the Trade War.

It would be nice if all this lead to the end of the CCP dictatorship and the people of China could have a voice in their own government. But seeing how the CCP has always resorted to brute force to quell any resistance, I have my doubts this can happen.

Yes China should have learned from SARS 17 years ago to shut down those dangerious wet markets and to not try to hide information from the world.

State-led censorship has proved as deadly harmful as sheer fake news to public health, at home and abroad alike.

In America, we have a free press, but some Americans, wish to remain ignorant of the truth

Hopefully there will be a revolution in China.

I'm honestly shocked the Chinese government hasn't done what it usually does when their government comes under heavy criticism, use the Japanese war atrocity card (like South Korea).

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

@Oldman_13, it would be hard. Because Japan has been pretty supportive so far in this whole crisis. Same with korea. If they pull that card again, is gonna collapse their economy. Currently they need all the allies they can get. Tourism, trade and production is not looking good. Once they contain the virus, they would need allies to convince others that China is safe to visit and do business again.

Preemptively playing the victim card. Smooth.
