Without US, Soviets would have freed the region eventually, same as Europe.

Not without the US Lend-Lease Act providing the USSR with much needed supplies. The USSR would not had been able to last long enough against Axis Germany's surprise blitzkrieg to mount a counterattack, but the Allies needed the USSR to be alive preoccupying Germany's eastern front and thus cannot focus everything at the western front)

The US were providing (even though it's called Lend-Lease, it's effectively a grant with not much expectation of repayment) the USSR supplies even before the US got into WW2 (Germany attacked USSR on June 1941; the US started sending supplies to USSR by August 1941; Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on Dec 1941 and US entered WW2)

America only served its own interest.

Yea..."freed" as in the Baltic States, Poland, Eastern Europe. Freed like the Southern Kuriles. And when actually freed the country looks like North Korea.

The U.S. actually "freed" countries, they did not keep them after liberating them.

"While armies under Nationalist Party leader Chiang Kai-shek fought most of the major battles, Communist Party guerrillas under Mao Zedong forced Japan to divert soldiers and resources from battlefields elsewhere with low-level engagements."

"The Communists swept to power in 1949 following renewed civil war against the Nationalists and continue to uphold the struggle against Japan as a source of their legitimacy to rule."

The commies fought against the Japanese by hiding out in Yan'an. Mao was grateful towards the Japanese for weakening the Kuomintang enough for the commies to win the civil war.

That's the hard truth Mao's heirs in the CCP do not want to talk about. Mao was both a sociopath and a coward. The CCP was very nearly defeated in 1937 but Chiang had to turn the KMTs efforts towards defeating the Japanese. To say China was neutral is a bald faced lie. The KMT fought hard and long to defeat the Japanese but Mao was so treacherous he even tipped Japanese forces off to KMT locations causing the KMT to lose battles, all so Mao could weaken the KMT for later knowing the Soviet Army would do the heavy lifting to remove Japanese forces from China.

It was a rutinary police operation performed by Chinese police and Chinese volunteers serving the Japanese government, searching for comunists and terrorists that should be detained even today

There is no shortage of eye witness accounts from survivors, neutral foreigners and Japanese journalists and soldiers and even 16 mm film footage from a missionary there that proves you are wrong. Yours is the propaganda of the Japanese right wing nationalists and not related to the truth. It brings discredit to Japan and perpetuates the distrust of Japan among its neighbors.
