Of course China is denying that.

China is as same full of lies as Russia is!

No wonder they are best friends!

“We hope the culprit of the crisis would reflect on their role in the Ukraine crisis, take up their responsibilities, and take practical actions to ease the situation and solve the problem instead of blaming others,” Wang told reporters at a daily briefing.

Replace "Ukraine" with "COVID", and you have the level of hypocrisy that blights China's credibility.

China on Thursday denounced a report that it asked Russia to delay invading Ukraine until after the Beijing Winter Olympics as “fake news” and a “very despicable" attempt to divert attention and shift blame over the conflict.

It is regrettable that the former president popularized this term. When used by a government official is pretty much means the story is true and they are too lazy to form a cogent rebuttal.

Chinese assistance obviously entered into Putin's decision to invade Ukraine.

Don't believe a word either guy in that picture say . Treat their people like dirt.

What we see by looking at these two men are dictators who have installed themselves as life-time rulers. Who do they remind you of?

Will Chinese Govt rule out invading Taiwan or are they going to provoke a war too?

I used to be surprised by things Chinese govt does, but I've learned from the constant, continuous, lies to assume bad stories are 100% truth when about China. It is like they have a contest to come up with the dumbest lies over things that aren't even their doing inside the CCP-Govt. This is just wild enough to be true.

Each of their 500 propaganda arms doesn't know what the other 500 propaganda arms are doing. The mistakes can be funny. Like when Eileen Gu includes her twitter account in her Weibo posts and suggests that all Chinese people can just use a VPN to follow her there. Clueless. Using a VPN is illegal and because Chinese laws are extremely discretionary, you might be ignored or disappeared or have your family taken for "reeducation" or anywhere in between those options.

China is such a joke and crack up.

Hopefully, China can and should expect a similar global response for this kind of violent behavior.

Like "WMD".

Cry about it

China on Thursday denounced a report that it asked Russia to delay invading Ukraine until after the Beijing Winter Olympics as “fake news” and a “very despicable" attempt to divert attention and shift blame over the conflict.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin also repeated China’s accusations that Washington provoked the war by not ruling out NATO membership for Ukraine.

The extreme irony of saying it's "very despicable" to try to shift blame and also saying that it's the US's fault that Russia invaded Ukraine.
