Han Chinese need to stop these abuses from their govt. Where are the riots from the Han people?

They are in the same boat as the majority of Serbs under Milosevic or Germans under Nazi rule. When they down tools instead of fighting harder for what is right, don't expect history and nations to show much sympathy towards them.

Who is "they"? Does that include the people of Hong Kong or of Tienmanmen Square? You do realize how difficult it is to speak against the regime in mainland China, or do you not?

Han Chinese are the "they". They have downed tools instead of fighting harder for what is right, and they seem OK with that. They should not expect sympathy from anybody if they bend over like they did.

This reminds me of a science fiction TV show episode ... Stargate: SG1 where the Aschen provide an end to most diseases, but include sterilization in the drugs. https://stargate.fandom.com/wiki/Aschen Over a 50 year period, 99% of all humans will become sterile. Within 100 yrs, the Aschen get to take over.

The Global community breaks out righteously in condemnation of the death of a blackman.

Yet here we have the Government of China kneeling on the necks of a whole race?

Are we to believe that BLM however Uighurs are less equal?

Quit whining about what you think others aren't doing, and find out what human rights organizationa are doing, join them, and then tell us what is being done.

I wouldn't have any issue with the people. However, the fact that they tolerate and even condone this to happen in favor of Han Chinese makes them complicit and unworthy of any sympathy.

Hate the CCP, not the Chinese people.

If they start to wake the hell up and rise against their government, I wouldn't have any issue with the people. However, the fact that they tolerate and even condone this to happen in favor of Han Chinese makes them complicit and unworthy of any sympathy. Did Serbians get sympathy when they went after Bosnians and Kosovars as they did? No. Did Germany get any sympathy once we found out what the Nazis did to Jews and Slavs during WW2? No. Why would the Chinese people deserve any more sympathy than Serbs and Germans had when all cases revolve around ethnic cleansing?

Another problem I have regarding this context is the number of Muslim countries choosing to turn a blind eye on what has to be the worst government-sponsored anti-Muslim action in the last few decades. The people in the Middle-East and North Africa would go mad if a Western country did something against Muslims, but they keep their mouths shut about this. I mean: can you be more two-faced than this? Shocking.

Pukey2

Trump doesn't give a damn. He approves of putting Muslims in concentration camps. Didn't you hear?

No I did not hear that. Which fake news organization told you that? In case you did not notice, Trump is the first president since Nixons China opening who has actually been addressing the China issue, correcting the unfair trade and encouraging bringing production back from China. As was actually part of his election platform. And he was lambasted for that by your fake media (go google for the screaming headlines about unnecessary trade wars in your mainstream newspaper of choice). Short attention span'?

Forgot to mention our "mainstream" media, most of which have deep financial ties with the CCP too. Seen much coverage about the CCP treatment of the Uigurs? Nope, me neither. You have to look at independent sources for that.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

I am as anti-islamic as anyone can be, but the CCP policy with its concentration camps and genocide is absolutely unacceptable. (I think islamism should be addressed by defending free speech and secular law.) Yet, notice the roaring silence from the islamic world here. Both Iran, Pakistan and Bangladesh are Chinese clients and deeply connected with the Belt-Road-Initiative and arms sales. Don´t expect to hear a peep from them as far as the Uiguirs are concerned. But not to worry, they wake up and become very concerned the moment Israel is mentioned.

We are powerless, unable to intervene directly into such brutality as Chinese officials claim it as "just internal affairs."

However, we can still do something about overt communist sympathizers on our side. There are certain types who sell cheap moral principle in exchange of personal gain, by telling Beijing "it's a right thing to do" with regard to concentration camps in Xinjiang.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

It is the people that allow CCP to exist...

When did they vote ? In their shoes, you'd do what ? Han or Uighur, their choice is to obey or run away before you get killed. And millions did escape, many more got killed. And it's not decades ago, it's on-going. Even becoming member of the party is as optional as paying your fee to the yakuza if you run a business they decided to ransom.

That said, the Xi government gets some support. From some elected foreign leaders, for instance.

JT please give me some latitude.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

The Global community has to confront the Government of China with if deemed necessary force.

The People of China need to be released from a tyranny incomprehensible in the 21st century.

It will mean possibly the ultimate use of tactical nuclear weapons. However this is the price that must be paid.

Once unleashed the outcome will be horrific.

But the Government of China is dependent on this fact. In the belief our leadership is soft.

Itis time to prove otherwise

0 ( +2 / -2 )

This is pure evil.

Birth control?

More like child murder and mutilation of women by the corrupt Chinese government.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Have the global community not witnessed this abomination before?

The Government of China is a disgrace away from more atrocities.

Many lives will be lost. However it is time to hammer down.

If not, many more generations will come under the Government of China jack boot.

This fungus the world calls China is slowly creeping its way throughout the world. The world needs to control it before it turns into a fatal cancer.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

This is beyond horrific. The Chinese government is as despicable as it gets. Twenty-first century Nazis.

People here say don't blame the Chinese people, blame CCP. It is the people that allow CCP to exist... Therefore the people are equally guilty of what CCP does, so all Chinese people are to blame for what is going on, no exceptions.

No exceptions? How about the Chinese who have stood up and do stand up to the CCP and have been killed, imprisoned or made pariahs for it?

I hope you don’t blame me, a UK citizen, for the appalling foreign policy misadventures of the UK leading to bloodbaths, selling arms to murderers and supporting scumbags in my lifetime. I don’t agree with it.

I certainly wonder if you would have the guts to stand up to the CCP as a Chinese citizen. I suppose you could try living there and stir up a revolution.

Let us know how you get on.

There should be a worldwide boycott of this evil nation.

I’ve got no time for the CCP thugs but who else should the world boycott for human rights and other abuses? I’ve read posters here, and personally know people who believe in international boycotts of China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, the UAE, Israel, Myanmar, Russia...I know more than a few who think the US and the UK should be boycotted for a history of selling arms and propping up scumbags in foul regimes.

As I said, the CCP is a rotten and amoral regime but I don’t know where you stop on this.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Thank goodness President Trump is in the White House for another four years to help put an end to this. Nobody else will have the balls.

Trump doesn't really care about human rights** though unless as leverage for something else

(** Human rights simply for human rights' sake)

That's why he has no problem with dictators like the Saudis or strongmen like Bolsonaro doing what they do controlling the population

3 ( +4 / -1 )

We all know Xi Jinping is the Hitler of the 21th century. But what are we going to do about this new Hitler? He will kill more innocent people and he has no Jewish people to kill so he kills Ughiurs and Muslims in Xinjiang.

8 ( +10 / -2 )

Thank goodness President Trump is in the White House for another four years to help put an end to this. Nobody else will have the balls.

Trump isn't in the White House for another 4 years. Or did we miss the election?

As for putting an end to this, Trump's had the information on the Uighur camps for years, like everybody else. I haven't seem him do anything that might actually hurt the Chinese government in response to this. The only thing he mentions is trade, and his measures there haven't exactly brought China to its knees.

As for having balls, his method of dealing with brutal dictators is to having a meeting, take a few pictures, take about his new friends and declare everything to be sunshine and daffodils. Wonderful.

Other leaders have certainly been ineffective, but the only balls Trump knows about are bright yellow and buried in the undergrowth.

8 ( +12 / -4 )

Trump approved this when he turned a blind eye to China.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Just 2 examples how evil this country is.

In which country political party (Communist Party) decides how many kids family can have... unbelievable

Second,   which country in the world put on all banknotes the biggest mass murderer in the history of mankind...

and we can continue and continue ....

10 ( +10 / -0 )

China has carried out a genocide and the world has occasionally made feeble protests but kept quiet.

Dear leader trump gave a wink wink , nod nod to Xi before going down on both knees asking for support.

Disgraceful!!!

5 ( +9 / -4 )

China is a disgraceful country that I want nothing to do with. The independent country of Taiwan is everything that China should aspire to be.

13 ( +13 / -0 )

I believe the term ethnic cleansing might be appropriate. How's the Democratic countries going to respond? I'm sure we will all be one people in a Chinese reeducation camp!

11 ( +11 / -0 )

People all over the world start riots because of skin color...but not when women are forced to be sterilized against their will.

Firstly, I think you mean protesting.

Secondly, nobody's stopping anyone from arranging a protest. Why not lead the charge?

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Despicable. The Han Chinese are doing this simply to achieve a slow genocide of the Uighur Muslims. These people have been in their land longer than the Chinese, and are being imprisoned, killed and tortured in the millions simply for being Muslim. I stand with them when they fight back at the Chinese in any way they can.

All nations with any sense of morality are going to have to take a hit economically in the short term, and cease ALL trade with the evil Communist regime. In the long term, we will adjust to making our own cellphones, TVs, electronics, clothes etc - better quality than the Chinese.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Thank goodness President Trump is in the White House for another four years to help put an end to this. Nobody else will have the balls.

What’s he going to do?

Maybe he could accept the Uighurs as refugees but in the past he said he wanted to ban all Muslims entering the US and so I don’t think that would fly with the MAGA crowd.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Thank goodness President Trump is in the White House for another four years to help put an end to this. Nobody else will have the balls.

-10 ( +9 / -19 )

And just as Bolton told us about the Chinese gulags for the Uighurs, Trump I'm sure gave Xi the "A-OK" for this heinous policy too...

It's just another Trump QPQ - buy more wheat and help my re-election, I'll look the other way on Hong Kong and the Uighurs...

What an you expect from the guy that gives millions to the CCP to make his clothing line...

Go to Trumpstore.com, buy something, and help sterilize or put another Uighur in the gulag...

8 ( +14 / -6 )

Not far removed from Hitler's Nazi doctrine. China is the biggest threat to the World.

19 ( +21 / -2 )

Utopian society....everyone is equal has equal rights except those that live closer to Mecca than Beijing.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Let's all sit back and watch how the UN & the WHO ......whose member states are in the pockets of the CCP......all sit back and do nothing.

Nothing concrete anyway.

People all over the world start riots because of skin color...but not when women are forced to be sterilized against their will.

Forcing women to have an IUD fitted. It’s horrific.

And people think China is just a bogeyman enemy, lol! Yeah, uh-huh....

Is this the government we want running the show if the US can't get its act together?

16 ( +16 / -0 )

As more as I read such articles, my dislike to China starts to turn into Hate.

Sickening and despicable. How is this even tolerated by the world community?

I guess China's dollars and trade overrides any morality.
