Inflaming doubts and spreading conspiracy theories might add to public health risks as governments try to dispel unease about vaccines, she said, saying: “That is super, super dangerous.”

In the latest volley, state media called for an investigation into the deaths of 23 elderly people in Norway after they received the Pfizer vaccine. An anchor at CGTN, the English-language station of state broadcaster CCTV, and the Global Times newspaper accused Western media of ignoring the news.

When it comes to Chinese propaganda, only China is right and those that say otherwise is always wrong even if they're backed up by facts. But the good thing is their propaganda is as believable as fairy tales.

Hmmm, if they really believed it crossed over naturally from bats to humans, why would they point fingers at Ft. Detrick? Perhaps they want to deflect from the Wuhan lab....

If China is going pull this kind of crud, then we should go back to calling it the Wuhan Virus.

I think , it is already obviously too much to have opened up that lab in Wuhan. I wouldn’t recommend to additionally open up Ft. Detrick. Closing both long ago would have been better, but that’s also of no use anymore. We simply can’t stand that global network of such biohazardious laboratories and guarantee absolute safety and security of them, they have to be banned and abolished immediately like atomic bombs, too.

Any country that refused Chinese entry early on, did not have a mass die off of their population.

The Chinese are commensurate liars!

This simply shows yet again that China can not be trusted and China is not a good global citizen.

Hopefully the CCP and its fringe theories go the way of Trump and his.

Take responsibility China.

We need to know what happened, the truth, so we can try to prevent it next time.

If it was from animals, food market, laws should be placed to ban certain animals and open markets with no regulations.

I disagree with calling the virus anything except Covid19. Average Chinese has no say on what the CCP does. Even Billionaires have become a target in communist China if you don't stay in line with the party.

The CCP is taking a chapter from the Russian deny, deflect, you-can't-prove-anything book. But the more they do that, the more they appear guilty of something.

Up to this point, I was happy to believe it was an accident and the main issues were Chinese leaders trying to save face for early and recent bungled decisions - decisions just like every other politician would have likely made anywhere else in the world. Now I'm not so sure.

Obvious to everybody, except for all the experts that know about the topic and understand there is natural process that has happened uncountable times and that requires absolutely no laboratory to keep happening even as we speak.

Your confusion comes from thinking this event happened because the lab is in that location, in reality is the opposite, the lab is in Wuhan because that is a huge city in a province where lots of wild viruses are isolated every year. Studies have already indicated that the city was not where the first human cases appeared, only where they became very obvious because of the population density. The real first cases happened in rural areas with more contact with the wild animals that are the reservoir.

Your recommendation is much worse than not doing anything. It is impossible in biology to guarantee absolute anything. But up until now the benefits of having laboratories specialized on biohazardous materials are much higher than the risks that they bring, the first SARS did not come from a laboratory, neither MERS, thinking that COVID could only have escaped from a lab, go completely undetected to some rural villages and then go back to a big city simply makes no sense.

Here's a detailed video describing the origins from the Wuhan lab:

Here's a detailed video describing the origins from the Wuhan lab:

Terrible investigation, it actually takes the much more likely natural origin, then unnecessarily complicate it with unproven theories that do not fit the evidence and tops it with failed arguments already proven false by the experts of the world. How comes he never mentions that?

It also keep mistakenly assuming the infection originated from the city of Wuhan, even when cases from other places of the province have already been found. Or maybe it is just trying to hide that information because it proves the theory wrong. I would not be surprised if he was one of the science denialist that keep repeating antiscientific theories of how the pandemic is fake or lockdowns don't work, etc.

According to WHO advisor Jamie Metzl, the COVID-19 pandemic likely started via lab leak (he was appointed to WHO’s expert advisory committee on human genome editing in 2019).

“There’s just more evidence and as more evidence arrives, the case for accidental lab leak, in my view, increases.”

He believes the original Wuhan wet market theory "was a lie. And the Chinese government knew very early on that that was a lie. And so in the face of overwhelming evidence in May of last year, the Chinese government shifted its position.”

"There is a field of study called “gain of function” research, which is highly controversial in which some scientists amplify the virility of viruses. We know that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was involved in gain of function research on bat coronaviruses."

People used to defend conspiracy theories keep thinking who says something is the important thing. It is not, the important thing is the evidence that anybody has to be able to say it.

What someone believes is irrelevant, what that person can prove is what is important. Keep using the market is also indicative that this person is aware his beliefs are terribly weak, it is already well known that the first human cases happened weeks before the event, so thinking that it did not began there is not proof of some huge conspiracy, it is only proof that you can read the reports that prove that people had the infection long before the first cases were found.

He would need to explain how exactly the Wuhan laboratory managed to leak the virus into a populous city, but without causing widespread transmission, so the leak went out to rural areas of the province, spend some time spreading slowly as expected from a natural contact, and only then going back to the city to cause explosive dissemination. That is what is absolutely necessary to even begin to think about a laboratory escape.

(After that he would need to explain how that is even necessary, since it is simply astronomically more likely that one of the countless natural contacts produce exactly the same process).

"There is a field of study called “gain of function” research, which is highly controversial in which some scientists amplify the virility of viruses. We know that the Wuhan Institute of Virology was involved in gain of function research on bat coronaviruses."

Yeah sure, the same as every other laboratory that works with coronaviruses, gain of function is the minimum work anybody has to do with viruses to get results of any importance. Then again, he would need to explain how come the strategy followed by the scientists to produce this specific function ended up being very elegant, extremely efficient and also completely different from what the natural viruses ended up using. The published research is more of a proof that this is a pathogen not related to the studies done than the contrary.

Since the onset of this disease, China has manipulated and never revealed accurate data on the infection of the virus. They never said how continuous the virus is to anyone? How many individuals have this disease already? What source is there? In this way, how did they suddenly manage instability? There are several problems which are unresolved. They didn't provide the WHO with adequate data and still deceived them. Blames have often moved from one country to another. First, they blamed the US, then moved to India, then to New Zealand, blaming others for their evil deeds is the old habit of China. Even now, the world and the World Health Organization continue to be deceived by reshaping the name of Wuhan City and celebrating the struggle of its health workers and others. When the WHO Investigation Team arrives in China to find out the origin of this deadly virus, is it surprising that all this is going to happen?

Have the WHO scientists interviewed the Chinese scientists as to the conditions and any infections in the Wuhan lab?

If not then, why not?
