BA.2 has arrived.

Reminds me of China's 1 child policy. Seems good in the short term, but later on you end up paying the price. The Chinese need some natural immunity. If you keep locking people down, their immune systems weaken and no immunity is gained.

34,000,000 is more likely. Remember this is the CCP.

All this fuss for Omicron?

It lasted 5 days in my case, and nothing more than a sore throat…

"It lasted 5 days in my case, and nothing more than a sore throat…"

However:

1) "There is strong evidence for brain-related abnormalities in COVID-191–13."

2) "The most comprehensive molecular study to date of brain tissue from people who died of COVID-19 provides clear evidence that SARS-CoV-2 causes profound molecular changes in the brain, despite no molecular trace of the virus in brain tissue."

Don't blame me!

Blame the researchers.

"There is insufficient understanding of the characteristics of the Omicron variant... and judgment has been inaccurate."

Sounds like most dictatorships.

The mayor of Jilin and the head of the Changchun health commission were dismissed from their jobs Saturday, state media reported, in a sign of the political imperative placed on local authorities to contain virus clusters.

Just pass the buck.

Not our fault or our policies we made to deal with the virus that is wrong.

It is the persons way down the ladder that is responsible for failures of our policies.

How many more will lose their jobs as they are blamed for the goverment policy failures ?

"Oh! Covid is not that bad," they say. "It's like getting a cold" they say...

But what cold virus accumulates in a person's reproductive system, primarily male testicles. Can cause Erectile dysfunction (ED) and reproductive problems in men? Study after study is showing that Covid-19 effects multiple organs and bodily functions.

Second, this is proof that zero Covid is a foolish strategy.

It was a great strategy for the original virus. Foolish with Omicron.

All this fuss for Omicron?

And that's a sample size of one. Omicron has killed more people in the US than Delta.

It was a great strategy for the original virus. Foolish with Omicron.

There are a lot of losers out there who were too stupid to change their stalking points when Omicron appeared. Some of them were losers who thought that Omicron somehow proved that zero-covid didn't work for countries like NZ and Australia, and some were extreme-maskers who thought society should aim for zer-covid even after Omicron came around.

Anyone who didn't change their talking points when Omicron appeared is only exposing themselves as being of particularly low intelligence.

2020- Omicron has killed few, if any, in the U.S. Many who died recently had Omicron and so hospitals gladly count them as COVID deaths because they get paid extra.

Therapeutics would easily prevent serious COVID illness anyway.

I hope they don't imagine that the international community is going to start feeling sorry for China, when yet again the Chinavirus they so kindly gave the world (killing around 10 million people, infecting over 3.5 billion people ) comes back to bite them in the bu**

And still never a word of remorse/ regret / apology from their deceitful leader to the world's population that through their devious activities they were able to unleash this unimaginable horror on us all: just appalling.

best case is to protect the vulnerable let it move through the rest of society and move on quickly.

Why protect everyone possible not the best case?

Happy Day

2020- Omicron has killed few, if any, in the U.S. Many who died recently had Omicron and so hospitals gladly count them as COVID deaths because they get paid extra.

Excess deaths in the US suggest otherwise.

Therapeutics would easily prevent serious COVID illness anyway.

Patients get therapeutics if they go to hospital. It still hasn't stopped them dying.

Needless to say, this will cause more supply chain issues and inflation.
