1000 bed hospital built in 10 days, that's mass production. How do they do it?

Two ideas going around are that the Chinese eat bat and bats are considered the probable source of the coronavirus outbreak spreading from China per NYT article. There's a youtube video of a woman with a bat head held by chopsticks and eating bat soup.

The other idea is that the coronavirus is human-engineered per Indian virologist research paper.

Any news from the state controlled Chinese media about super fast hospitals or the miraculous doings of the PLA take for they are worth.

Looks like a cold and dreary place.

"Amid accusations of a slow official response to the outbreak, six officials in the city of Huanggang, next to Wuhan in Hubei province, were fired over "poor performance" in handling the outbreak, the official Xinhua News Agency reported."

And there goes China with the scapegoat for their cover-up of the Coronavirus back on December 30, 2019. Nothing will ever change in China as long as that corrupted way (culture) is left to live another day. Once this outbreak has been dealt with you bet all the money in the world that we will see China do this yet again only next time it will be far worse than this time just as this time is already far worse that the last time.

China doesn't learn because it destroys its history to save face and those who forget their history are doom to repeat it again and again as it has been said.

@KnowBetter

Japan also regularly destroys its history. The government does not even know who it invited to a party last spring!

Prefabricated buildings. Nothing magical here.

Pre-fab buildings, to easy and nothing to Woo Woo about. Kind of surprised actually that even that took 10 days on 1 flat layout of pre-fab facility. Better than nothing but again nothing to brag about either.

China is scrambling to contain the virus they leaked before the world finds out the truth.

Chinese culture is a low-trust culture. Secrecy is a natural result, which isn't great for working in teams or sharing information of national interest. Hence, there is a cultural requirement to keep bad news hidden.

Hard to find any positive in this looking at the photos, but I'm impressed, it's certainly a lot better than tents used by the UN, AND it keeps patient locked up and isolated.

But of course an authoritarian government can do anything it wants.

I do wonder, when this is all over, what happens to all the construction materials? (remember this is one of 3, 4 if you include the conversion in Huanggang).

How will the authorities decontaminate the site?
