Like SARS, this virus seems to be more serious and virulent among ethnic Chinese.

So what you are saying is that Chinese people are the ones being most negatively affected by a disease whose outbreak is almost entirely confined to China?

Better get on the phone to the WHO with that hot tip, I am sure they had no idea.

burning bush:

Most of the deaths overseas are of Chinese people.

That's great. That means all those racist white people out there who verbally and even physically abused Asians around the world can now rest assured they won't be affected by it much, even if coming into contact with the virus. As rainyday days, hope you informed WHO with this important nugget of information.

The CDC has said that this virus was started in China, by the Chinese.

Strangerland - The CDC has said that this virus was started in China, by the Chinese.

Interesting claim. I was under the impression the virus had been a transfer from bats. Or are you claiming that the Chinese created this virus?

CDC say the outbreak originated in China, say the Virus will be with us for the duration

I hope this is true, but unfortunately, as everyone has seen - the Beijing regime is not to be trusted. Those who speak out against it are removed/disappeared.

Strangerland, you are so primitive. It will take you 100 million years to catch up 750,000 years old Beijing man.

Aren't you lucky you have freedom to speak out (unlike Chinese media). Such a shame it's trash like the above comment.

That's good news for the Governments worldwide that have banned travellers from China or those that have been to China recently.
