Fu warned other nations not to test China’s resolve.

The US already did when, last November, two unarmed American B-52 bombers flew through the East China Sea and into China's failed attempt to expand its AIDZ.

So, Fu, I think I know what you need: I nice warm cup of shut the f& up.

Wow! Like a Car Yard's Guard Dogs.

No one is provoking to Communist China. Only Communist China is provoking and threatening to its neighbors. What wrong with you Communists? That's why Japan needs keep Plutonium for emergency use.

I must advise to Communist Chinese Government for to clean up nation air pollution for sake of Chinese peoples. I believe the Communist's XXXX Syndrome may be causing by Global Warming. FU Yin mental problem may be effected by Global warming.

“But if some countries wish to provoke or wish to damage ... regional peace and the regional order, then we must make a response, and an effective response at that,” Fu told a wide-ranging news conference on the eve of the legislature’s annual session.

The argument Fu is bringing has become really stale by now. It does not seem to be the 'some countries' but only one country, China, that is not just wishing to but actually damaging 'regional peace and order' by unilaterally violating borders and ignoring established international boundaries. Who, when and how, are going to rebuff a nation clearly on the wrong path, a nation which is not only polluting the natural environment of its neighbors on a large scale, but polluting political waters to boot.

Other countries should take China’s sovereignty claims seriously if they truly care about regional peace and security, she said, singling out the United States by name.

Yes, that's why other countries are asking the US for help - because they are taking it seriously. Just because China claims it doesn't mean they'd just give up their own borders.

Whats next, People of Chinese descendent in S.K and Vietnam are feeling threatened by local fascists so the Chinese army needs to invade to protect them? With these kind of political 19 century attitudes I guess there is no other way for Chinas neighbors than to develop and strengthen their military.

Or, China says it needs to protect Chinese speaking people living in Japan.

Also, what counts as a provocation? Should we watch our language and don't say anything bad about China?

And there we go again. So China is stating that they decide what is their land and sea borders and if anyone provokes them (that is, I guess, have a different opinion) they may use their military, efficiently. Well I think they may be trying to surf on Putins mess in Ukraine. Whats next, People of Chinese descendent in S.K and Vietnam are feeling threatened by local fascists so the Chinese army needs to invade to protect them? With these kind of political 19 century attitudes I guess there is no other way for Chinas neighbors than to develop and strengthen their military. The bullies will not stop bullying by themselves.

The Peoples Republic of China may believe the US will do nothing if they take these islands. After all they have done nothing after the Russians invaded Georgia in 98 and now nothing when they invaded the Ukraine. It gives them the green light to invade these islands. They might invade some or all of the Okinawa islands believing the US will do nothing.

China seems desperate for a trigger to start WWIII

China says its military will respond to provocations

Provocations by Who? They remind me a paranoid thief accusing someone stealing his wallet. China is trying to create a problem from nothing.

agree with you on south korea, but not the u.s. (fought in a lot of wars recently).

1) Had every legitimate right to get rid of Saddam, the world is a better place and trust me, NO one misses him.

2)Afghanistan was the REAL war according to Obama where we should concentrate our efforts to get OBL and the Taliban

When is the U.S. not at war?

This is what happens when you are the sole super power and these dictators are trying to challenge you and the world. You will probably get into a few wars.
