Free Xinjiang! Free Tibet!

CCP is only concerned about clinging on to their power, not about China.

China needs to learn to shut up and watch some of the you tube videos which have been smuggled out of the country

They're sounding like N. Korea more and more the way they keep throwing their toys out the playpen at every opportunity.

China is a big threat to world peace and democracy.

China will have to get used to a lot more criticism - the rest of the world is a bit tired of their nonsense.

Beijing likes to play the victim card when others point out it's many faults. The G7 is just borrowing China's "wolf warrior" stance and speaking up on what it see's happening inside China. China gets no domestic criticism, so it does not understand how to handle it when it comes from the international sector. CCP is used to total control and silence from critics at home and expects that from everyone else now that it see's itself as a superpower.

They should get going with their "less dependency on Chinese supply chain" asap. China is just increasing its influence day by day.

Seriously, China, no one cares. You’ve caused the world to stand still for over a year now. No one respects you.

Get used to it, China. We are tired of you free-riding on the global system we created.

I recently met a family of five that had left Hong Kong due to the CCP. If Chinese Han citizens are leaving then what is life for their minorities?

China deserves all the criticism the world can muster. I really love Chinese people. Its the government that we cannot take anymore.

China must pay a price for their unacceptable treatment of minority groups and forced labor! The only lies being spread are by CCP! I wish it was possible to buy products that are NOT made in China, but thanks to profit greedy western companies, it became almost impossible since the mid 80's!! I do my best not to buy and always check the country of origin, but usually there is no choice but to buy products made in China as there is NO alternative manufacturer!!!

China will never win over the hearts and minds of the world. I mean, it’s allies are North Korea and Russia.

It’s becoming more and more unethical for democratic countries to do business with them. A lot of manufacturing is already moving to other countries in Asia.

They are destined for collapse.

One day when the CCP is gone and China becomes a unified democratic nation that will play a constructive role in the international stage, China will be welcomed. Until then it can take a long walk off a short pier.

China is losing the pr war. I feel sorry for them, they became the world’s laughing stock.

Paul, yes I have had the same problem, recently tried to buy a lamp shade, simple thing easily made but every one that showed the country of origin was made in China. Even where I have had assurances from companies that they have changed their sourcing policy to other countries, the damned product arrived with a made in China label!

it’s allies are North Korea and Russia.

not sure russia would be considered an ally...

China becomes a unified democratic nation

china might be unified now under the threat of the hammer, but i dont think the country as it is today will remain unified as a democratic nation. it will split into numerous independent nation states along ethnic, cultural, wealth, or geographical lines much like today's xxxx-stans.

how that will change the global stage remains unknown.

China gets no domestic criticism, so it does not understand how to handle it when it comes from the international sector.

This. China's way of handling criticism is imprisonment but that won't work against the international sector.

I do my best not to buy and always check the country of origin, but usually there is no choice but to buy products made in China as there is NO alternative manufacturer!!!

Buying a lampshade from another country is not going to make any difference. Cutting off iron ore exports from Australia to China would be a start. It needs to be on such a scale to make a difference.

"start acting more responsibly in terms of international norms on human rights".

"We will promote our values, including by calling on China to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms"

Why can't they mention "genocide?" It's like they're afraid to be punished economically.

Who invited Ursula von der Leyen, and Charles Michel?

They both swam and hitched a lift?

With the NBA, Hollywood celebrities, and Big Tech cashing in on China and refusing to criticize them - even apologizing for saying plan truths - it's a sure bet that the West will not be able to gain any leverage over the CCP. With even the press backing down from the Lab Leak Conspiracy Theory because they their first priority is always to claim Trump is a liar no one has the moral authority or credibility to stop them from blackmailing everyone to see things their way. biden wouldn't dare follow Trumps lead and put pressure on the Chinese - his arch-Left minions would call he a colonialist oppressor. That's the last thing an old White Democrat who used to hang out with segregationists and taught his son it's okay to use the n-word is going to do. Get used to China owning the US until the biden regime is thrown out.
