Super: "Trump is going nowhere on North Korea."

Billy Boy, Bush and Obama were the ones who went nowhere on N Korea. Trump's only had a year and a half so far. Stay tuned.

wtf: "Fox Business has less subscribers than many of the solo youtubers I watch. LOL"

Anything Gingrich said that isn't true?

I think, the problem was N. Korean top generals rather than the Chinese. N. Korean Generals do not trust American and they don't want to give up nuclear power which they have been tried to get in hands for decades.

No, this is just a repeat of North Korean actions. They've been playing this game for decades. Trump supporters never had North Korea in their radar until he started escalating against NK to detract from all his failures. I repeatedly said at the time that negotiation and sanctions were the way to go, but that North Korea would soon start making unreasonable demands, in the end pulling away and blaming it on the Americans (or whomever they're negotiating with at the time). This is what they do, and they are pros at it.

But the Trumper's are seeing it for the first time, and trying to tell us how it works, repeating the exact same things I and many others were saying at the time, as if they're teaching us. Read Chop Chop's post above - he's literally telling us the NK strategy as if it's something new no one had any idea of previous to this.

Then he concludes with this:

President Trump's strategy will work but it needs time. The US has nothing to lose because suspension of military exercise is nothing and it can restart at anytime. The US has received 55 remains of missing soldiers from N. Korea. It's a good thing.

The US had nothing to lose any other time when all the other presidents were dealing with North Korea, they all could have restarted at any time. Other presidents received remains of US soldiers. No one has claimed it was not a good thing then, nor now.

You have to give some credit to President Trump even if you don't like him. He is doing fine with his policy and negotiation strategy.

This is just getting ridiculous. First Trumpers go on about how the US policy on NK was a horrendous mess before Trump, then when Trump ends up continuing the exact same policy on NK, they say you have to give him credit for 'doing fine'.

This is why team-based politics are so stupid. People screaming about how everything would be so easy to fix if only someone were to do that thing no one wants to do.

The reality is that we live in an extremely complex world, and there isn't anyone out there with the answers. We're all just doing our best to figure out the answers. People who claim they have them all simply do not.

I think, the problem was N. Korean top generals rather than the Chinese. N. Korean Generals do not trust American and they don't want to give up nuclear power which they have been tried to get in hands for decades. Kim Jong-un may not be as strong leader of N. Korea as we think. Kim Jong-un had enthusiastically and genuinely promised to denuclearize his country when they met in Singapore.

Kim Jong-un must have been pressured to delay his country unilateral denuclearize by his top generals. Kim Jong-un can be removed from power if he didn't delay unilateral denuclearize because they don't trust American. N. Korea may not be started dismantling its nuclear weapons and IBM rocket engine test site unless American has lifted some of economy sanctions against it country.

President Trump's strategy will work but it needs time. The US has nothing to lose because suspension of military exercise is nothing and it can restart at anytime. The US has received 55 remains of missing soldiers from N. Korea. It's a good thing.

"A ridiculous sight. A ridiculous man."

I dunno, he's stopped N Korea from launching any missiles since November, he got Little Rocket Man to cross the DMZ to shake hands with the S Korean president, without paying a penny to N Korea... if he's ridiculous, what is his predecessor, who gave millions to terrorist supporting Iran?

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

I would never give a link to a lunatic. Don't you have any links to anyone who knows how to make N Korea denuke within a year and a half?

No. It’s very difficult.

I agreed that Trump should talk to NK. After that, he started grandstanding, claiming he’d sorted the problem and his whooping morons started shouting Nobel Prize at his rally.

A ridiculous sight. A ridiculous man.

"He ( Obama ) didn't make any progress"

Over eight years. Trump has had just a year and a half. How about giving him a bit more time, considering that N Korea is not one of the most cooperative regimes in the world?

"Don't you have any links to lunatics"

I would never give a link to a lunatic. Don't you have any links to anyone who knows how to make N Korea denuke within a year and a half?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

No explanation why the previous president couldn't take care of this problem during his eight years?

He didn’t make any progress. Nobody is claiming otherwise. Trump stupidly claimed he’d sorted the whole thing but we are back to square one.

Don’t you have any links to lunatics spouting off in their basements, or worse, Tucker Carlson, weighing in on the 4D chess claim?

"No link to Tucker Carlson explaining it today?"

No explanation why the previous president couldn't take care of this problem during his eight years?

Pssst, Super - 4D chess.

How do you know?

No link to Tucker Carlson explaining it today?

reported that Trump at June's summit pledged to sign a declaration ending the Korean War, and now the two countries remain deadlocked over who will follow through on their commitment first.

Lovely. Nice negotiating.

That the walls are closing in is clear. With the economy as it is, 2018 should be a bonanza election for the GOP - but it's a toss-up. And Trump is panicking about losing the House, and not just due to impeachment; for example, Cohen could (and would) be summoned to testify in open hearing with no ability to plead immunity as he's already plead guilty, and, trust me, there is no love lost between the two.

Walls closing in? Bonanza economy. What really scares me is, the Dems don’t know the first thing on creating a vibrant economy, their idea is to go full nuclear on redistribution income as the safest (not smart at all) way to move the economy long even if the GDP rolls to 2.0% these people are quite content with that or if businesses don’t invest or leave...

Saturday is McCain's funeral in the Rotunda, from which Trump has been conspicuously excluded. Friday is the last day of August before the midterms, so expect some indictments.

Trump has been excluded and so what. Both men hated each other and no love loss, Trump is focusing on the country.

Trump's latest eruption may seem alarming or Apoloplyptic depending on how inured one has grown. I'm afraid we've seen nothing yet. We've reached "cats and dogs sleeping together" level.

And like the rest of the chum that’s out there this will blow over in a week.

Trump blames others for his ineptitude more than a European socialist. And that is no small feat.

Roll on November...

China can slam Trump all it wants, he won't be fazed, and will further drag the world into his own little cesspool of mistrust and hate.

Trump is only capable, as it seems to me, to be "friends" with those who agree with him, or politely, and very publicly kiss his arse!

> It's outrageous to suggest Trump is using logic of any kind here.

On this sir, we agree! I am tired of the so-called leader of the free world talking to everyone using vocabulary that is better fit for primary school!

Trump's refusal to direct criticism at North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and instead blame other parties

Trump's a coward. He couldn't fire people in his administration to their faces, not even Omarosa. He lied to her because he was too cowardly to admit what he'd chosen to do. Someone else does the firing for him while he's playing golf.

The bucks stop in the White House only when they can go into his personal bank account.

He's a master of other-guy-did-it.

He can only talk tough when he's hiding behind his Twitter account.

No wonder Putin's found Trump such a pushover.

7 ( +10 / -3 )

China owes the world an apology.

It's outrageous to suggest Trump is using logic of any kind here.
