nature of the violation is extremely bad

Yes. It is. A little discomfort for super wealthy accused of violating laws is a small price to pay as it works though the legal system.

OTOH, Canada nor the USA would detail her family members for months, if they weren't charged with any crimes.

says that Ms Meng has at least 7 passports, 3 from Hong Kong and 4 from China.

She has entered the USA 33 times using 3 different Hong Kong passports between 2014 and 2017.

Hong Kong immigration officials would not comment on Ms Meng's case but stated no passport holder would be "in possession of more than one" at a time.

So she is violating Chinese laws too.

She owns 2 homes in Vancouver, worth CAD5.6 and CAD 16.3. She is the definition of "flight risk." How many other properties does she own around the world, for what valuations?

Fishy smell coming from her and Huawei and Chinese Govt.
