China on Sunday told other countries not to “deliberately stir up trouble” in the disputed South China Sea, while insisting it has no intention of militarizing the strategically vital area even though it has increased construction activities there.

Since 2013, China has accelerated the creation of new outposts by piling sand atop reefs and atolls, and then adding buildings, ports and airstrips big enough to handle bombers and fighter jets — activities seen as an attempt to change the territorial status quo by changing the geography.

In short, it is the old Chinese "do as I say, and not as I do" BS.

China is the only country that is unilaterally "stirring up trouble" in the South China Sea.

China warns other countries not to?

It is a consistent Chinese position to firmly oppose the militarization of the South China Sea

So no one can challenge them?

[China] will not back down

You can say what you want, but I wouldn't fire on our ships.

In other words, let communist China, the ugly bully does what it wants. The illegal act of unilateral changing the geography is beyond shame for China. It will be decided by international court, period. China has been using the illegal means to advance its Eco-politics, and now geopolitics? Really, China's model is not welcome outside China.

Couldn't get much more hypocritical, could they?

Shouldn't had built up that artificial island reef if they didn't want no trouble.

Should had just kept the status quo.

Once ya disrupt the status quo, then don't expect the others to maintain it for ya.

Perfect example for teaching students about the usage of the pot calling the kettle black.

China is the only country stirring up this BS. I see China is dancing like a mad dog as fast as they can.

Interesting "misinformation" and "misdirection" and "counter" by China. The important thing for the world to know is that there are many different "threats" when territories are involved.

A territory infers resources natural and otherwise what and how that may affect ones economy, essentially the livelihood of the people. A territory infers military aggression, which definitely affects safety and security and the ability to live and work peacefully.

For China and even Russia, those two are obviously definitely behind their unilateral actions and the need for them to use propaganda and obvious lies to cover their over actions and activities. For China to complain about what is a justifiable complaint by the other nations is but a feeble effort to misdirect and hide the truth.

Oh big surprise. The biggest troublemakers and hypocrites making yet more trouble.

Lie, lies, lies and more lies. These moronic idiots can't even keep their BS straight anymore. Unbelievable.

While I agree that it's BS, what lies have they told?

In all of this "truth" will someday prevail, provided some power does not rewrite it permanently.

Hopefully that truth will surface soon and without any dire consequences for humanity.
