Good idea because China is plagued by illegal immigration and terrorist acts perpetrated by foreigners!

Nah....they will probably use your prints for fraudulent acts.

Hmm...give my fingerprint to the Chinese...I think not.

Lots of countries do it, so why not?
Haaa Nemui
They've probably already got it.

ah vinarius - blaming trump for everything? I know you have a passport- and probably other documents that required fingerprinting.
I would look at this though and wonder- if you have a valid Chinese visa why an extra step of fingerprinting at the gate- that is not something the US does.
but if you want to have fingerprints available on everyone that enters in one online database linked to photo id it is a great way to do it

The US Govt has my fingerprints already. Can't remember if China required them for my last visa there. Remember S. Korea took them, along with an iris photo.
Pretty soon, Wally-Mart will demand fingerprints. Need to order some fakes online or make my own using someone else's http://www.wikihow.com/Fake-Fingerprints
Looked at methods to make automatic fingerprint matching harder a few days ago. Doesn't take much (a vertical knife cut is enough), but the prints can be flagged and then have someone reduce the matching criteria for a human to confirm possible matches.
