I wonder where China built the soundstage to fake their moon landing? LOL!

The worlds moved on.. if you wanted to do the same thing now you'd do it all with CGI.

Well, I, for one, am glad that somebody is still in the business of space exploration. And, if China is keen to assert its nationalist pride (and, oh boy, is it ever!), then it might as well be in a manner which can potentially benefit all of mankind.

The giant copy machine in the world did it again.

US basically went to the moon with copied German tech. Why no criticism of the US? Like Pukey2 wrote, criticism only works one way.

China has accomplished many things in a short time. I commend them. They must realize that it was not possible without the Soviets or USA - fine - but they did it. Someone needs to pick up where the USA gave up and the Russians have no interest in going. Good for us all.

Something I've confirmed from reading many of the posts here:

USA and USSR going to the moon - great accomplishment, well done.

China going to the moon - up to no good, have no right to explore anywhere in the universe, should just close its borders and shut up.

Well if the country has so much money to spend maybe the world could stop sending money to help the poor there?

Too right. By the way, India should stop sending anything to Mars, taxpayers in Russia and USA should be compensated for all the money spent on space exploration during the 60's to now, Japan should stop sending astronauts, blah blah blah. Oh no, I forgot, criticism only works one way.

Well, sure the USA and USSR etc...did this back in the 1960s but come on, let us give CHINA a bit of credit! Better late than never, right??

upon taking several soil samples, the rover came upon a bunch of old scrolls that clearly showed that the Moon, and indeed most of the solar system has been an integral part of China from ancient times. Therefore, the Chinese government declared the Milky Way an Air Defense Identification Zone

Grats to the chinese people on this accomplishment that was done back in the 60s. Now if only the CCP didn't spoil this achievement with their actions back on earth.

The communists will spend for their image, not their poor. Without other nations assisting the poor the officials will do nothing.
