Imagine if they did this in October 2019, when the brave doctor rasied the alarm. Instead, he was persecuted and sadly passed away. The medical professionals are the heros of this debackle, while the zoo that is humanity runs around in chaos, one crisis to the next.

Chinese people are locked in the folly, but I doubt CCP members are restricted at all. They've all gone overseas during lockdown and got innoculated with western vaccines.

If the "benefit" is the lost opportunities of the Chinese economy that are picked up by other countries what CCP members do has no importance, the point is that the unsustainable and unscientific measures are stopping the advantage that China usually has.

Why would they need that info? there is nothing that health insurers could have that would make it easier for Chinese companies to improve their own vaccines. Nor that is wanted any way, the lockdowns are a very useful mechanism for population control that would not be needed if the population was already well immunized like in the rest of the developed world.

Insane is to keep believing this, even when all scientific sources clearly prove that vaccines greatly reduce the risk from the infection and even contribute at decreasing infection and transmission.

I don't think they are pointless, as they surely lower risk of transmitting the virus. But now that everyone who wants to has vaccinated, it's probably not worth it to continue masking indefinitely.

No it doesn't, because nobody has said masks are 100% efficient at stopping transmission.

To be able to say masks don't work you would need to prove there is no reduction, comparing two equivalent populations except that one wears masks and another don't and observe the same number of cases.

How else would you know that not wearing masks would cause 2, 10 or 20 times more cases?

Seems all the cliches that are stuck to masks and vaccines can be easily applied to 0 covid as the cases creep up by significant margins everyday. The thing is masks and vaccines don't hammer the economy or ruin lives like 0 policy does, despite what others said.

"Doubling down" is a well-description as the CCP is wasting money and other scarce socioeconomic resources for this zero COVID nonsense, against all odds. Opportunity costs are also growing as more and more foreign business and investors think twice. The zero-Covid stupidity only makes PCR testers happy about profits assured.

???? Eh... The reason they do the lockdown zero thing is because the population is not vaccinated enough with appropriate vaccines which are proven to be the best defence against C19. And according to reports (no vaccine campaigns or effective vaccines availability), the country will never be vaccinated enough.

And another reason is to also keep grips on the population because of the economic disaster that is being covered up, but that's another story.

Factually, that is not the case, as Australia, and New Zealand, for example, both fell into a recession, and recent government statistical data shows China has a higher increase in GDP than the UK.

You misunderstood the original post. The vaccines do not stop transmission. That is a myth. No scientific journal concludes that.
