Tougher line?

Uighur tough, Tibet tough, South China Sea tough or Taiwan tough?

Disappear them and sell their organs tough.

The propaganda media are laying the groundwork for military intervention.

Enjoy all your mainland China-made products and continue bashing Trump for interrupting the mainland China agenda.

Remember, these are the people pushing their agenda at the “Friendly ASEAN” get together

China is learning that it's a lot harder to put people in a cage than it is to simply keep them in a cage.

I would be nice not to have to watch Chinese civilians getting shot by the PLA twice in my lifetime.

The HK Police and government are Communist thugs, just like the unelected Beijing Communist "government".

If you support democracy and freedom, then support the HK freedom fighters. The Communist sympathisers will support the HK Police.

I would be nice not to have to watch Chinese civilians getting shot by the PLA twice in my lifetime.

HK Citizens are NOT Chinese. Dont follow the PRC propaganda.

HK's problem is system problem. The colonial system doesn't work. No perfect people, and no perfect HK siblings, but 2.2 billion people will never give them up, will never abandon them.

gruesome attack on a pro-democracy lawmaker.

Paid CCP operatives.

Hong Kong has a completely different culture than the mainland. Self govt is the only answer.

China Daily also noted that the party plans to strengthen Hong Kong's legal system to "safeguard national security".

Translation: Beijing will turn HK courts into rubber stamp kangaroo courts, where the wishes of the central government are ALWAYS carried out. But, of course, there will be the window dressing of the "rule of law".

What HK has is a different system, the colonial system. HK and China has the same culture, since there is a earth.

The same culture?? You mean the culture that is the Chinese Communist Party?!?! Communism, which is most definitely NOT Chinese in origin?!?!

You mean the culture that is massive reeducation camps?!?! The forced harvesting of organs?!?! The persecution of all religious groups?!?! The blacklisting of ANYONE who speaks out against government corruption?!?!

You mean that the people of HK share THAT culture with the Communist thugs running the mainland?!

That is just laughable!! Oh, and to be clear, the culture that you speak of did not exist before 70 years ago!!

And you keep talking about the violence and the terrorists that are in HK. And yet the only reason that the CCP runs China is because 70 years ago it came to power through.... guess what....... violence and terrorism!!!

The PRC is a dictatorship controlled by jackboot thugs..... and most people in HK have no desire to live in a society controlled by jackboot thugs!!

There are no special people before laws. It doesn't matter if you are a foreigner, or a HK hooligan, if you acted as a terrorist, then you will be punished as a terrorist, no more and no less.

HK will never rest as long as the terrorist CCP are trying to rule them without respect for their human rights.

They are reporting now that the HK police are starting to target the media. This is what we can expect from China if they take over, they fight to prevent transparency, so their actions cannot be seen by the rest of the world.

HK Citizens are NOT Chinese. Dont follow the PRC propaganda.

Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong citizen born there and he tells the world he is Chinese.

Completely agree.

China's land. China's laws. China's right. Or, do you only apply this "logic" when excusing Japan acting repugnantly?
