Well China can offer millions of educated, well re-educated people, to be used as the Taliban wish. And Afghanistan can in return ramp up drug production for the west. It’s a win win there.

Well China can offer millions of educated, well re-educated people, to be used as the Taliban wish. And Afghanistan can in return ramp up drug production for the west. It’s a win win there.

They mostly want the mineral deposits and biomaterials indigenous to the area.

They can also sell them weapons in exchange for making sure no Urighurs cross their borders to escape China's grasp and/or military assistance and training for those people who want to fight Chinese oppression.

China wants to be the new terrorist sponsor state. They hate the west THAT much. Taliban will milk them for all they're worth.

At least they can compare notes and have detailed discussions on the suppression of locals.

“Since August this year, the situation in Afghanistan has undergone fundamental changes and the Afghan people have a historic opportunity to independently decide the country’s destiny. Meanwhile, however, they still face many difficulties and challenges and are in urgent need of external support."

Soon there won't be any more journalists to file these reports.

Four journalists have been attacked and assaulted by the Taliban over the past week, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. 14 have been arrested and detained over the past 45 days.

And yet Russia told Europe today that they should re-open their embassies?

The Chinese are worried that Afghanistan will become a base for anti-Chinese, pro-Uyghur Islamic extremists. ISIS-K keeps them awake at night and Taliban are not prepared or equipped to control them.
