My family is also fighting in Iraq etc..but do I want them to be there???? NO!! Do I want scum like DICK Cheney to keep up their corrupt antics in Washington DC??
No one wants there loved ones to be in harms way, but that's there job and that's what they do and the only thing we can do is support them. As for Cheney, get over it, you sound like these liberals that are suffering from Bushsyndrome. Both are retired ( sadly ) and are enjoying their lives, making tons of money appearing on TV, special events and probably laughing at all the liberals that begged for a big change. Well, now you got what you wished for. The corruptness is coming from this president and Holder.
They're doing that too, but since Obama cut the military budget, we have a lot less resources to tackle many of this issues

The USA should be fighting the drug war lords in Mexico, Colombia etc..not wasting our time in useless places like Iraq, Afghanistan etc...IMHO

@El
sorry dude, you are almost always WRONG,
ROFLMAO, I'M almost always wrong???? If you take your emotions out of the argument and look adjectively what I said, was not only wrong, but absolutely right.
That's right, I do enjoy my freedom and that's why when I see my cousin (who's in fighting in Afghanistan) every few years and my other cousin best friend that works for the CIA. I'm always appreciative and thankful and we go out big because I know the sacrifices that they make for our freedoms in the bigger picture. Also, if you don't like Cheney, that is your choice. I say NO thanks to THIS current administration.
Deplore
Well your source really discredited itself there. Do you have any idea how stupid this sounds? Yeah, the CIA really controls nearly 10% of the US GDP. I literally laughed out loud when I read that line.
HonestDictator
Same ol' same ol'. To be honest Syria is one place I think the US should step back and let both sides take each other out. The "rebels" obviously have some extremists amongst them and Assad's government is killing its own civilians. Doesn't matter who's in power because someone is going to be killing and opressing people either way.
SuperLib
Training 25 people at a time for weapons the CIA isn't supplying is a gimmick to get information about what's happening on the ground. Seems pretty obvious.

Bass, sorry dude, you are almost always WRONG, but hey we live in a DEMOCRACY so it is cool, you can enjoy your freedom but not thanks to DICK CHENEY!
JeanValJean
Ah. So is this an "authorized" leak?
CIA: involved in deposing every leader that doesn't meet with approval, from Iran's democratically elected leader in 1953 to Mubarek. Meddling vermin.
lostrune2
Whether the U.S. gets involved or not, the Middle East will still become a hellhole one way or another because a lot of people there hate each other and that's where a lot of oil comes from. Then they'll drag the rest of the world with them.
minello7
I often wonder who is really responsible for US foreign policy , the US government or the CIA ???? All around the trouble spots of the world over the years, the CIA always crops up.

@bertie
What are you talking about?
Really, killing senior Al Qaeda leaders, top militant targets, the same goes for the Taliban, most notably OBL. Where were you?!!
We do, it's called, Multi-tasking.
Seriously, Can you ever say anything else other than the same old thing again and again?
@Morry
By the way, where is OBL?
Honestly, That makes absolutely NO sense, before the second WW Japan used to be an ally as well and look what happened.
Morry
"The US has achieved precisely nothing with its covert and overt attacks and "wars" in the Middle East."
Totally agree. The U.S. really needs to butt out. Gee, it was only 25 years ago that the US was training and providing weapons to the rebels in Afghanistan. One of those rebels was called Osama bin Laden. And we all know how that turned out.....
falseflagsteve
Old news and yet again the US government are supporting Al Queda and their friends. Don't worry, i am nuts and wear a tin foil hat. The rebels are good guys really, full of love and joy for their fellow humans.
edbardoe
History repeats again! CIA trained Osama Bin Lauden to fight the Russians in Afghanistan back around 1980. Hope we are not training future enemies again.
badsey3
Most likely you are paying for this somehow, but the CIA has a "black budget". Could be money from their sales of drugs (Afghanistan heroin et al)
Davidjustis
Not new news
Serrano
Who's paying for this?
BertieWooster
And some US diplomat has the audacity to complain about China's "bullying"?
The US has achieved precisely nothing with its covert and overt attacks and "wars" in the Middle East.
It's time they got their own house in order.
Elbuda Mexicano
The CIA?? And only the Los Angeles Times newspaper knows about this?? Now, this is news!
